Superb hotel , service was excellent , the room was lovely , clean , with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains. My husband who is a coeliac was well catered for , the restaurant staff advised him daily which dishes were gluten free. Good gym , swimming pool and lovely spa areas . Transport to the ski lifts daily and return to hotel was provided . We could not fault our stay here everything was excellent .

It might be a bit emotional, but I truly feel overwhelmed with positive impressions from our stay. Our stay at Grand Hotel Zell am See was absolutely amazing. This is one of those rare cases when reality exceeds all expectations. I would like to especially thank Jasmine, who from the very beginning of our booking was incredibly attentive, patient, and always ready to help with all our questions and requests. The location of the hotel is simply exceptional — a direct view of the lake and mountains creates a truly relaxing and unforgettable atmosphere. The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone was kind, welcoming, genuinely friendly, and always ready to assist. You can truly feel that the guests matter to them. We travel a lot, but this trip to Zell am See and our stay at this hotel genuinely impressed us. Our room was wonderful — clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I personally work as a hotel quality controller, so I understand standards well, and I can confidently say everything here is at a very high level. The spa and fitness area are also excellent — a perfect place to relax. The food was simply outstanding. The breakfasts were rich and varied, the afternoon snack was a very nice bonus, and the dinners were truly of top quality. I would also like to highlight Mr. Nihad and his team for their care, attention, and professionalism throughout our stay.Thank you very much for everything! In my opinion, this hotel deserves even more than 4 stars — it is truly a 5-star experience with a plus. My husband is not very talkative, but he said something very meaningful: “This is a place you want to come back to again.” And we will definitely return, more than once. I have already recommended this hotel to all my friends. Also, the early check-in was a very pleasant and appreciated surprise.

Had planned to stay here for many years and delighted we finally got the chance - didn't disappoint ! what a place, lovely location, right on the lake, close to town and railway station. Service impeccable, and our room was lovely, right on the top floor looking over the lake. Interior is quite traditional, some might say old fashioned, but it just adds to the charm because it doesn't feel old. breakfast and dinner were both excellent, service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, and I couldn't recomment highly enough. Definitely worth the stay

“Great hotel, wonderful staff, superb location”

My wife and I, together with two friends, spent 5 nights on a skiing break. My wife and I, together with two friends, spent 5 nights on a skiing break. The hotel location on the lake shore was fantastic, and our rooms had balconies which overlooked the lake with mountains in the distance. The hotel food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Transport from the hotel to the main ski lifts in Zell am See and Kaprun (from where you can access the glacier runs), and back, was provided. Also provided was a ski storage room accessed from the hotel garage, which included hot air heaters for boots, so everything was made easy for skiing. The hotel also had bicycles which we used free of charge to cycle around the lake on the well maintained cycle path. We could not fault any aspect of the hotel or service provided. To cap it all on the last day my wife left her handbag in a restaurant near the hotel, so I called the hotel from the airport and they retrieved the bag and posted it to our home. Without question I would recommend the Grand Hotel as a fantastic place to stay, and look forward to returning at some stage in the future.
