“Causy hotel near the beach”

Not to big hotel quite close to sandy beach Rooms midsized. Small swimming pool. Wide choice of balkanian cuisine on meals.

“Great Time”

Rooms were enough clean and the environment was good. I had a great time in there. If they can add more qualities it'll be great. Foods and drinks were fine. The hotel was not loud, it has a quite ambit.

Summary: We are a family of four who chose this hotel based on its very high online ratings. While the location is great and the hotel is clean, the core experience, especially the food and dining service, was a major letdown and does not justify a 4.5-star rating. In our opinion, this is a solid 3-star hotel at best. If you book this expecting a true 4-star experience, you will likely be disappointed. ​Location - The Strong Point The hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 300-meter walk to the beach and situated right in the heart of Sunny Beach, close to all the shops and restaurants. The surrounding area felt clean and safe. ​The Room - Clean but Dated We stayed in room 317, which faced the street. The room itself was spacious and kept very clean by the daily housekeeping service. However, the furnishings were dated. The extra bed provided for our children was of very poor quality and uncomfortable. We were also disturbed by a constant humming noise from outside during the night and early morning, likely from an external air conditioning unit. ​The Food - A Major Disappointment The dining experience was the worst part of our stay. The restaurant is far too small for the number of guests, and it was often a struggle to find a table. The food selection was extremely limited and repetitive, but the main issue was the terrible quality of the cooking. For example, some of the pastries served at breakfast were clearly dry and likely leftovers from the previous day. To give an example of the poor cooking, on one evening there was a small selection of meats and the only edible option was the chicken schnitzel. The other choice, a grilled pork chop, was cooked so badly it was completely dry and tough. The instant mashed potatoes were a particular low point, reminiscent of a school cafeteria. There was almost no fish offered during our 12-day stay, the desserts were the same every single day, and the fruit selection was poor. This is not the quality one expects from a 4-star all-inclusive hotel. ​Service - Lacking Professionalism The service in the restaurant was subpar. Staff were slow to clear dirty dishes from tables, often leaving them there for our entire meal. Cutlery was not always restocked. In one instance, a waiter even placed a pile of dirty tablecloths on the back of my chair. While we could communicate with them in English, the level of service was simply not professional. ​Pool, Beach & Entertainment The pool was clean but the water was quite cold. There were always enough sunbeds available, which was a plus. For kids, there is only a small paddling pool. The evening animation shows were okay for the children, but the adult entertainment was very basic. The nearby public beach was extremely crowded. Sunbeds and an umbrella cost 30 BGN per day. The sea was often rough, with a green flag for calm water on only 2 out of our 12 days there. For our small children (ages 3 and 6), this meant that swimming in the sea was not suitable or safe on most days of our stay.

“Good stay, but improvement is desirable.”

Not a crowded place. Rooms are big and comfortable, the bathroom drains required improvement, because anytime we had shower less than 5 minutes later the water was reaching out to the room, so we had to be really quick and waiting and cleaning so the next person can have a shower. Rooms are big and comfortable, the bathroom drains required improvement, because anytime we had shower less than 5 minutes later the water was reaching out to the room, so we had to be really quick and waiting and cleaning so the next person can have a shower. Food fairly good not much of a choice, the day when head chef was there quality of the food was really good. Staff were wonderful very helpful and pleasant, hard working. Was a pleasant stay on the whole.
