We stayed 7 nights at Kalofer. Its location is perfect: 6 min from the beach, 1-3 min to several shops, 5 mins to bus stops. Its appearance is pleasant, revamped. Little garden is much nicer than what published photos present. The swimming pool is sparkilng clean and cool. The bar has a nice crew and a core range of drinks. It also handles restaurant orders. Two negatives there are: poor music, possibly liked only by people, whom they wouldn't like to host and spikes in bamboo chairs, verrry disagreeable with sun-tanned thighs. Our room had two modern beds with spring mattresses. A small lcd tv had ca 40 channels tuned, about 5 in English. Air conditionning we decided to keep shut at all times its old control dial and rattling noise of ventillators were strong warning signs. Breakfasts were a buffet type. We eventually found a satisfying combination of ingredients. Do we recommend this hotel? Yes, and you're likely to do the same.

The hotel is self it's kept reasonably clean. It has still Communist feeling as the sheets are horrible. They are rolling of the bed. They need to invest bit more. The hotel is self it's kept reasonably clean. It has still Communist feeling as the sheets are horrible. They are rolling of the bed. They need to invest bit more. It's high season and it's half empty. Food varies from day to day. They coukd try do better. Too oily but there were also good days. They have lovely pool area I give them credit for that. Girls at the reception are very helpful! Other thing WiFi is only downstairs. Since we are in 21st century it would be nice to have Wi-Fi everywhere as they have TV in the rooms but obviously not English channels. Well I wish the owner of the hotel all the best.

I found this hotel to be very basic It offered everything you would require,not a luxury style hotel,I was impressed for the price I payed for my two week stay,all staff were very friendly and polite and approachable,towels and linen changed regularly,the room was very spacious,the pool cleaned every night as I witnessed,as my room was overlooking the pool,restaurant was basic,breakfast was Bulgarian,as you would expect,but it was ok,housekeeping lady was very friendly and polite,always spoke and a smile of happiness,security was excellent,I really liked the idea of the safe behind reception,this was only accessible with the receptionist holding the master key,so this was witnessed every time you entered your safe,no chance of any theft taking place,despite previous comments on here about theft,no chance of any theft taking place at this hotel,a particular mention for the night receptionist,he told me he had worked the past seven months,seven nights a week,without a night off,respect for him,I didn’t get his name,but he was excellent,always greeted me,had time for a little chat,and was very approachable,I was satisfied with this hotel overall,no complaints whatsoever,I stayed in room 526
