We had a great stay at DIT Majestic Beach Resort. The location is excellent, the rooms are very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pools were always clean, although the water was a little cold in the morning. The food was excellent, with a huge selection and different dishes at every lunch and dinner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. A special thank you to the pool bar staff, and a big thank you to Farhut, Dijan and the hotel bar staff for the amazing service and great cocktails – especially the Long Island Iced Tea! 🍹😊

“Amazing place”

The hotel and food were amazing. Very friendly staff, especially Ivan behind the bar in the lobby. Would definitely recommend this place and we'll be back again

The Majestic is by far the best looking hotel on Sunny Beach. With two huge pools there was no overcrowding which we have experienced before. Some would say the pool was cold but with the heat it was perfect. We travelled as a family of 3 with friends children ages 11 and 9. The children loved the pool as inflatable’s and balls were allowed. We never had problem with finding sunbeds first thing in the morning, and generally throughout the day people come and go. Although not allowed people still reserved sunbeds. Our room was on the 4th floor and we paid for a sea view, I think a higher floor would have been better. The balcony was small, and we never sat out on it. Our friends room opposite us looked over to the hotel behind The Majestic and had a much bigger room. I agree with most reviews about the rooms, they are a little dated and definitely the bathroom is in need of modernisation. Shower curtains I absolutely hate! But the cleaners were amazing and we never had any issues. The food at the hotel, I thought was very good. Lots of choice and hot! We used the Italian À la Carte once which was very good. We used the snack bar daily which the kids loved the freedom of helping themselves. Would recommend Nessebar Waterpark and Nessebar for trips. The water sports outside the hotel are also good value for money €20 for the sofa ride. I would definitely recommend this Hotel but I’m not sure we would go back to Sunny Beach.

“Not a 4 star hotel”

We stayed at the DIT Majestic Beach Resort for 7 nights all-inclusive and, unfortunately, it didn't live up to the standard we expected from a 4-star hotel advertised as luxury. There are positives: the hotel has good facilities, good swimming pools, good entertainment and an excellent beachfront location. However, several issues really affected our holiday. The sun lounger situation is a major problem. Despite clear rules saying loungers cannot be reserved, guests regularly leave towels and belongings on them. Even at 9am, it can be almost impossible to find a beach lounger, meaning you have to get up very early. The rules simply aren't being enforced. We also had an unpleasant incident over pool loungers where a lifeguard (the skinny pony tail hair always in the entertainment pool side) was extremely rude and dismissive towards us. We complained to management and the manager did apologise. There is also no beach bar, so if you're spending the day on the beach, you have to walk all the way back to the hotel for drinks or snacks. For an all-inclusive beachfront resort, this is very inconvenient. Our room was another disappointment. It was advertised as luxury but certainly didn't feel that way, decor seems to be 20 years old, bed sheets were never changed, room not hoovered, we found child sun glassed and chocolates under bed when moving sofá bed. There was significant noise from the bathroom drainage whenever guests above used water or flushed their toilet, sometimes during the night and the foul smell, we had to put towels on top to help stop the smell. We also experienced a dog barking at around 5am and staff talking loudly in the corridors. The TV had no English channels and, despite being a smart TV, its smart functions had been disabled, meaning we couldn't use services such as YouTube Kids. Smoking around the pool was another issue. Despite no-smoking signs, guests regularly smoked around the pool and on loungers, including around children, with very little enforcement from staff. Overall, the hotel has good facilities, pools, entertainment and location, but the room quality, staff attitude, lack of rule enforcement, noise, smoking and beach facilities let it down.It's a 4 star for facilities and location but a 3 star for everything else. Food every day was same thing, chicken skewers, lamb, kids meal pizza, breaded broccoli. We had to order takeaway a couple times to have something decent. Not even chicken nuggets or fish fingers they provided. For the money we paid, we expected considerably better. We wouldn't return and would choose a different resort next time
