Fantastic Family Vacation at Hotel Madara! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Madara in Bulgaria! It is a truly fantastic place for a family getaway. Our family room was incredibly large and spacious, providing more than enough room for all of us to relax comfortably after a long day in the sun. The food was another massive highlight of our trip—absolutely delicious with a great variety of dishes that kept everyone happy throughout our stay. A special mention has to go to the brilliant entertainment team. The animators were incredibly friendly, full of energy, and so eager to engage the kids in fun games and activities. Thanks to them, our children were entertained and smiling every single day. We highly recommend Hotel Madara to any family looking for a great holiday in Bulgaria. We would love to come back!

We have just spent 10 days at Madara Hotel in Golden Sands, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel offers excellent value for money, and everything works as it should. The all-inclusive package is well worth it, with a wide variety of food available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a good selection of permanent dishes as well as daily specials, so there is always something new to try. After a week, the regular options can become a little repetitive, but that’s to be expected at any all-inclusive resort in this price range. The food is tasty, there is always plenty of it, and the staff do a great job of keeping the buffet well stocked and looking fresh. The pool area is pleasant, with a relaxed atmosphere and high-quality towels available for guests. The animation team deserves special praise—they are enthusiastic, friendly, and especially great with children. They organize a wide range of activities and are always trying new ideas, from games to magic shows, while never making anyone feel pressured to join in. Golden Sands itself may not be the most exciting town, but it has everything you need, including shops, bars, and restaurants. The beach, however, is fantastic, with beautiful soft sand. You can rent sunbeds or simply find a free spot with your own towel. Prices around the resort were slightly higher than we expected, although still noticeably cheaper than in Denmark. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be that the staff could smile a little more. That said, this is probably more of a cultural difference than anything else, as they were always helpful and made sure guests had everything they needed. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would happily stay here again. Of course, you can find more luxurious hotels, but you’ll also pay significantly more. For the price, Madara Hotel delivers a very good experience, and we are happy to give it 4 out of 5 stars.
