“Nice hotel ”

We stopped in this hotel on a recent trip to Cambodia. Hotel is clean and pleasant. The staff a friendly. We booked a studio room which was spacious and clean. We stopped in this hotel on a recent trip to Cambodia. Hotel is clean and pleasant. The staff a friendly. We booked a studio room which was spacious and clean. The rooftop pool and bar is a nice relaxing area. The pool is clean and the pizza’s made in wood fired pizza oven is a nice touch. Drinks are a little bit overpriced but nothing major. Hotel is in a good location close to all the main attractions. There are tuk tuks outside the hotel should you not feel like walking or want to go a little further. We had breakfast included in the room. It was ok with a good choice. I would recommend staying here.

“Great Stay ”

We stayed three nights here and enjoyed our stay, all the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and large with everything we needed, we used the rooftop pool which was generally quiet. We stayed three nights here and enjoyed our stay, all the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and large with everything we needed, we used the rooftop pool which was generally quiet. Breakfast was basic but adequate and we booked a couple of trips with the hotel all without fuss. Tuk tuks are right outside and inexpensive. Value for money this is a great hotel.

“Good staffs”

The front desk and sales staffs were really good. On an overall hotel was ‘ok’. The breakfast was very minimal, lunch was surprisingly better. Room was long and narrow but clean. Although towels were e were worn-out and torn. Overall place needs some redo.

We booked two rooms in this hotel and appreciated its location, not really central and out of all the chaos and noise. The rate was ok, pics looked nice. We booked two rooms in this hotel and appreciated its location, not really central and out of all the chaos and noise. The rate was ok, pics looked nice. Staff kind and available, although not really ready to solve problems or anything beyond “where is the swimming pool.” The day after we left our luggage at the reception and let the staff know that if we manage to leave PP on the same day, we will just pick it, if not, we will book our rooms online for one more night. Indeed we did so, we booked for one more night and got the confirmation (btw, app Hotels NEVER EVER), but when we arrived late in the evening, our rooms were taken and we stayed literally on the street. App Hotels solved our problem by saying “don’t worry, we refund you”, but there was no way to be given an alternative for the night. Everything was closed. At 2am the receptionist offered us their partner’s 4stars room, “equivalent”, not far away from Essence Hotel and we immediately accepted. When finally touching the bed at 3am, we have been called and told from the reception that there was an error and we can’t stay, we should be driven back to Essence hotel, they have rooms. We did so, and again a “misunderstanding”, there were no rooms! Again on the street. The receptionist sent us to another partner hotel which was right in front of Essence, terribly dirty and simply a 2stars hotel, which was ok, but its rates online were 15$ per room while we spent 50$ per room at Essence.... We did not like at all this behavior of both Essence hotel and app Hotels and wouldn’t recommend any of them, unfortunately.
