The quality and ambience of the hotel, the staff, the amenities, the food & drink and the pool are truly amazing! We stayed here for just 2 nights whilst travelling around Asia and it was the hotel I kept thinking about & wishing I could go back to. The hotel is like a serene oasis away from the busy city of Phnom Penh. Once you’re in the grounds it’s instantly calm & relaxing with a truly beautiful aesthetic. All the staff, including and especially the exceptionally hard working grounds people, work so hard to keep this place pristine and it is so appreciated. From the welcome at the front gate, to reception, the bar, the spa and the time you say goodbye, everyone is so welcoming, kind and attentive. We were lucky we could check in 4 hours prior to official check in and we were so pleased. The rooms are large, cool, and with a very modern but warm design. We had a ground floor room just a few strides from the pool. The plants around the pool and rooms however keep everything private, and when you’re at the pool it’s like you’re in a jungle paradise. The atmosphere is calm and again, the bar and restaurant staff are brilliant and so attentive, with many orders being taken and delivered to the pool or loungers. Food is fantastic for the quality and plentiful, the same goes for drinks. I had a spa treatment and it was one of the best in my 36 years of existence, highly recommend a massage! The location is nestle away on a quiet street (as quiet goes for Phnom Penh), but once you’re in the grounds you really can’t hear a thing unlike another hotel we stayed at when we returned to Phnom Penh before flying. There are always Tuk Tuks outside and just a short and very cheap ride from other interesting places in PP and the staff at the hotel can help organise whatever is needed. I really had such a wonderful stay and can’t rate this hotel highly enough. We sincerely hope to be back in the future for a longer visit. Thank you so much!

We absolutely loved this hotel which is based a 10 minute walk to the Royal Palace. It has a lovely pool in the middle of the resort, beautifully surrounded by lots of plants and greenery. We absolutely loved this hotel which is based a 10 minute walk to the Royal Palace. It has a lovely pool in the middle of the resort, beautifully surrounded by lots of plants and greenery. The restaurant and pool bar offered fantastic food and we enjoyed happy hour by the pool each day. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and everything was fresh and of a high quality. The rooms were modern, very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely balcony too. Best of all was the staff - the service provided was excellent and everyone was so helpful, friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 7 nights while visiting Phnom Penh. During the week I went to Siem Reap for two nights but kept my room at The Plantation as the free nights offer I'd booked made this viable. The hotel consists of a number of 1960s/70s New Khmer-style buildings built around a beautifully restored 1930s French colonial villa. My room was on the second floor with a balcony. The room was very spacious, bright and spotlessly clean and had great air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The location is excellent and there are a number of great bars, cafes and a laundry close by. There is an ATM across the road from the main entrance. Everything you need to see is within walking distance or no more than a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away. The breakfast buffet was included in the rate and offered a good choice of Western and Asian options. Served in the poolside restaurant by friendly and efficient staff, it was a great way to start the day. Staff throughout were helpful, courteous, kind and friendly The hotel is also home to a French-Khmer fine dining restaurant La Pergola which was superb and I'd highly recommend.
