It costs USD39/night and if you join their membership program you can get discount and get 1 night free for each 10 nights. Japanese style small rooms with good layout and clean. Location is bit isolated from amenities and restaurants, however hotel provides free van service within 2km radius (No pick up). Airport pick up taxi cost USD12, but your taxi driver will most likely request additional tip to round it to USD15.

“Quarantine stay”

I'm currently staying at the Toyoko Inn for my quarantine week. My room is spacious, yes the bathroom is very small Japanese style. The wi-fi is superb. The food portions are exceptionally large. The room is very clean and offers everything you need. The aircon is top-notch. Sam the manager is the most friendly and helpful manager you will ever meet. The staff I have come into contact with are all great. My few requests were immediately attended to. Happy guest.

“A reasonably pleasant 15 days/nights quarantine stay”

We were bundeled into a bus straight from Phnom Penh airport and brought to this hotel in the dead of the night. We had never heard of this hotel before and were totally jittery about what would await us. However, we ran into one of the best hotel managers we ever came across in our life; a very friendly, humble and helpful person called (Sam). He quickly understood our special dietary requirements- strict vegetarian with no eggs/fish/meat/shrimp/oyster sauce at all in the food which is a big challenge in this part of the world. He managed to ensure we were provided different types of bread/croissants, steamed rice, boiled vegetables, salads, milk and a small variety of fruits. We thereby managed to survive this much feared quarantine period. The plus points: highly responsive staff, reasonably sized room with microwave, fridge and TV. AC was okay but we were provided a fan on request which made our room temperature tolerable. Godd beds with clean bedsheets and towels changed on request once every 4 days. Minus points: lack of coordination between staff managing the reception who could not communicate our day to day requests with colleagues- so there were many errors in food service but thanks to Sam's intervention, these were ironed out adn we managed to get what we needed. The worst thing in the room was the tiny commode; one of my buttocks was floating in the air all the time and it's been a once in a life-time weird experience! we had to clean our room by ourselves. Our 14 day quarantine extended to a 15th day because of delayed clearance by Ministry of Health despite negative test results. Finally we smiled out of the hotel on 12 April and boy, were we happy to breath fresh air despite the ongoing scare in the city due to community outbreak.
