Not going to lie I got thrown out of mad monkey but that was a blessing in disguise......the people in naga odum especially made me feel so at home and they are amazing people, if I was to ever stay at a hostel in Siem reap it would be this one......clean, friendly and homely Xxx

I was in this hostel for 2 nights on 16th and 17th june 2019. What i can say is central location. Close to restaurants and bars. Eveb at hotel restaurant also they do have a 50 cents beer and nice food. All staff very smilley. But this hotel no elevator. So u have to use stairs to go level 2 and ab… more

I was in this hostel for 2 nights on 16th and 17th june 2019. What i can say is central location. Close to restaurants and bars. Eveb at hotel restaurant also they do have a 50 cents beer and nice food. All staff very smilley. But this hotel no elevator. So u have to use stairs to go level 2 and above. For USD 6 pernight cost me to stay at private room what else i can complain. Really my stay was worth. Recomded to all backpackers.

“Not really worth spending your money here. ”

The rooms are so so, there was tiles missing from our bathroom walls. The walls between the rooms are so thin so can hear everything that is going on in the other room. The staff was really nice at times, but pretty weird at other times. They are very keen on selling you tours to the Angkor Wat are… more

The rooms are so so, there was tiles missing from our bathroom walls. The walls between the rooms are so thin so can hear everything that is going on in the other room. The staff was really nice at times, but pretty weird at other times. They are very keen on selling you tours to the Angkor Wat area. The breakfast was just bland and tasteless, not worth it even if it's included. We had several power outtakes during our stay, both for just our room, the corridor and the whole house no clue why it happens several times a day, and we were not spending that much time at our room

My opinion of Naga Angkor changed a lot over our 3 nights in their private twin room. On checking in, we were very disappointed as the room is very small, the bathroom even smaller, with large gaps around the tops of the doors so not at all soundproof. However, the helpfulness of the staff (Yudom in particular) completely changed my (initially very negative) view of the place. The bathroom was strange and very basic and we couldn't see how the shower worked, but the staff member not only described it but came up to our room to make sure we had it under control. Most impressive was when we left it far too late to book a tour company to visit a floating village, and nothing we tried online would enable us to get a tour before we left the city. Then at 9pm the night before our last day, Yudom thoroughly and incredibly patiently talked us through options, made several phone calls very efficiently, and was very understanding as we dithered over various queries we had and concerns. Solely thanks to her, we were able to make the most of our last day in Siem Reap and get to see the floating villages. It has reminded me not to be too quick to judge a place! That said, if your standards are at or above average for a private room, you're probably better looking elsewhere.
