This was a wonderful experience! from the moment we contacted Kim in regards to coordinating a stay at their lovely Inn it was nothing but smooth sailing. Kim was very accommodating and patient with us. Especially when we accidentally booked the stay for the wrong night! Whoops! Sleep deprivation and late nights made our brains foggy! Kim helped us to immediately feel at ease and she helped walk us through the steps to ensure our stay at the Inn. Kim was very reassuring, helpful and overall just made the experience less stressful when traveling with our young boy who has complex needs. We feared that we would have to find another place to go and we were already tired from traveling so Kims and John’s last minute accommodation truly touched our hearts. When we entered the house we immediately were stunned by the beauty of this place! The crown molding, the floors, the decor, fireplaces, the staircase, the balcony with a river view, mini golf, hammock in the backyard, comfortable beds/pillows, furniture, and the house had many windows and skylights providing so much natural light that seemed to bring the house to life with a glow of warmth. Everything was thoughtfully designed in a way that drew you in and made you want to stay longer. I loved all of the nooks that just screamed stay here, relax, unwind, and it was exactly what was needed after a tiring day of travel. The house felt warm and inviting, John was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. They were very generous in providing help with what we needed. John was very pleasant to talk to and really made the experience more enriching, learning about his life, his family and the amount of time and effort that was put into designing and building the house made us appreciate our stay even more. We cannot thank Kim and John enough for welcoming our family into their home! They provided a loving oasis, a home away from home, thank you! Kim and John have a beautiful home and we are so glad we could share in a little piece of their warmth, love and devotion that went into building such a dream! we will for sure be back in the future! Our only regret was that our stay was not longer so we could take full advantage of all the sitting areas and places that invited us to slow down and stay. This would be a book worms dream, good for someone who is needing some respite, or someone on a business trip, working on the run, it has enough space for families. Although the house was close to the highway and the city, the house was large and spacious providing many opportunities for sitting, and relaxing that it did not negatively affect our experience. If you want somewhere to stay that feels homey, warm and like an oasis this is the place to go.
