“Great Value”

Generally, quite good and definitely worth the money. What I was looking for was value and I received that. The only issue I had was at the stove was quite old and should be replaced. I would definitely go again.

“Not too shabby”

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean thought dated.. Check in person was lovely, rooms and bathroom were a bit tired and breakfast was fine, even though it was set up to reheat all the breakfast items.

“Family Vacation”

Overall of the hotel it was decent for the price of being in Vancouver. Rooms: a bit outdated, washrooms could use a facelift. Parking is a bit hectic, especially if you want to park in front of your room. Swimming pool: I thought the pool was great, especially if you have kids. A bit upset that… more

  • Yes, guests at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites have highlighted that: I stayed here from April 21-25/26 for 4 nights, so when I booked this place I wasn’t sure if I would like this hotel but overall it was not that bad of a place, first off, I will say that this hotel was located in North Vancouver which is beautiful area within Vancouver, when I took the bus it is located north of Stanley park across the bridge and it turned right then the first left and I got off at that stop and the hotel was right there. I checked in and I showed them my ID and I had to provide a credit card which they told me they had to put a $150 deposit on it, when I checked out that deposit would be reversed which did happen after I left. They told me that I had access to the dining area where there was a coffee machine available anytime if I wanted one. I think they said that breakfast was between 6:30am-1030am, which consisted of those breakfast sandwiches that reminded me when 7-11 used to sell them years ago, egg and ham, egg, egg and sausage, all of these sandwiches on an English muffin, yogurt, apples, oranges and muffins, cold pancakes too which you could heat the sandwiches and pancakes in the microwave, there was juice and coffee. I wished that they had changed up the breakfast say every other day instead of having the same cold sandwiches daily, otherwise the other food items were good. My room was on the back side of the building and the door faced west and had views of mountains which I loved. My room was 231 at the mid part of the building walkway on the second floor, only 2 levels in this hotel which felt more like a cottage setting. The room when I first opened the door it smelt like cleaner, like MR. Clean or Lysol, it smelt clean in the room, it also had AC, 2 double beds, a side table, a desk, a dresser shelf with a tv on it, an empty fridge, a tall and short lamp, an open closet and sink area, a coffee maker with coffee and tea and condiments, towels and basic bathroom. For people that drive they had plenty of parking and there was a walkway from the parking lot to a small courtyard with several trees and a fountain and more. Housekeeping only did my room on day 2 or 3 which is all I really needed, I did ask once for a couple of condiments for my coffee. I noticed there was a pool onsite, near the road but within the parking lot area, it was closed that this point, it could have been nice to swim since it was warm every day I was here. There were several food businesses nearby this hotel, also within a kilometre you had more food places and a couple of small grocery type places so if you wanted to eat you have some choices. The main thing I would give for feedback would be that for the cost of what I paid at the time (around $200 a night), you think they could provide a few cans or bottles of cola just like they provided free coffee since being a hotel they could negotiate with the soda company a deal to purchase 1000’s of cans or bottles at a cheaper cost to give to guests; also they could had changed the cold sandwiches every couple of days so it wasn’t repetitive. 5 of 5 for a great location with views 5 of 5 for wonderful mountain views 4.5 of 5 for a lovely hotel with a cottage feel 4.25 of 5 for a decent yet repetitive breakfast 4.75 of 5 overall for everything
