“Beautiful view for the first two days then a lovely large room for the second two days as we had to change rooms because I booke”
Staff were remarkable and I saw them help so many other guests while I was there with small, but important to the guest, questions. I love the photos scattered throughout the Hotel and really appreciate that there is an outside Ashtray available for those of us who are older and addicted to tobacco.

“Wonderful!”
Amazing hotel, beds are very comfortable and staff are friendly. The location is incredible. We saw a whale in the harbour after stepping outside the front doors of this hotel! My only wish was that you could take the stairs to your hotel room instead of only accessing via elevators, but I understa… more

“Sylvia Hotel is the best!”
What a beautiful hotel with a lot of history. The room and bed were extremely comfortable and it had great water pressure. The location is right across from the English Bay and couldn't be beat! Staff was great too!

“lovely stay”
Amazing location, beautiful atmosphere, clean room and friendly service. The price was acceptable for a local BC resident...but staying on the 8th floor - there was barely no water pressure, which was frustrating.
