“Great unless you're there on business. . .”
I loved the room, I loved the location near all the restaurants, I loved the view of the harbour and the sunrise and I loved the girl who checked me in (think she was called Lisa?). I loved almost everything apart from the fact that breakfast doesn't start until 8am. Seriously. 8am! I've not staye… more

“Nice view”
Room was lovely, clean and great view of the Harbour but still close to the airport. Many restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. Husband loved the pillows.

“ANOTHER GREAT VISIT TO ST. JOHN'S NFLD.”
My second stay at the Doubletree and it was excellent....I had a clean pleasant room with and excellent view of the harbor ..A special thank you to Sam and Anne at reception and accolades to Val and Daria for their warm , pleasant service at the Sparo..See you all again in 2026 !!!!

“Nothing special”
Had a nice room, well cleaned, good view of the harbour, great location, but ......nothing special. Staff were friendly, but the restaurant is not run by the hotel, and no bottled water replenished daily, and the bar shows old black and whites! Needs something to raise the standard to compare with… more

“Okay place”
Stayed here last week with our bus group for two nights. Rooms modern and clean but rather small. Provided breakfast was not very good and was short staffed. Good location for the downtown area. Hotel restaurant much too expensive and very crowded. All staff very friendly.
