Stayed two nights. Room was exactly as advertised. Hot buffet daily and we were welcomed by Eric a wonderful gentleman. What a joy to have such an enthusiastic person within this organization. I thought he was actually the owner the way he welcomed everyone. The Staff was attentive and very outgoing. We normally stay at the Hampron Inn in Napanee but this time will he our go to going forward.

When I reserved this hotel - a month out - all of the hotels downtown, close to Queen's were completely booked. I'm glad we were "forced" to chose the Hampton. The good: - no more than a 15 minute drive across the causeway from Queen's - well-lit, free parking - quiet - clean, spacious, efficient king bedroom with a sofa bed that our student found surprisingly comfortable - text welcoming us to the hotel and offering any assistance: We had just been discussing requesting an extra blanket, so I texted back, and the blanket was delivered shortly after. Loved that feature! Thank you! - breakfast was fine The not-so-good: - my charger plugged snuggly into the bedside table outlet. but the next morning, my phone was not charged Overall, we recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

“Good location in between cities.”

Good hotel on journey around Ontario and coming back to Toronto airport. Standard rooms. Shower no bath and good shampoo conditioner products. AC. Fridge Pool and towels provided but the chlorine was a little strong during our stay. Free parking and plenty of space

Our last stop before heading home from an East Coast road trip. After two weeks, 8 hotels, 2 Inns and a motel and many beautiful stops along the way, the Hampton Inn Kingston was another great choice of hotels. Before I begin my review of this venue, be aware that this Hotel is in a newly built up area. Your GPS will tell you that you have arrived before you actually see the Hotel. Keep driving on Innovation Dr until you see the Tim Hortons - the Hotel is located across the street. We arrived a half hour before check-in time but Daria, the Front desk attendant was friendly, professional and welcoming. Daria explained the layout of the venue, the open/close times of the available facilities and the hours of operation for the complimentary breakfast before assigning us Room 507. The room was fresh and clean with two nicely dressed queen beds, writing desk and chair, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, iron and ironing board. There were plenty of electrical plugs as well as dresser drawers. We liked the ceramic, hardwood and industrial carpeted flooring. The bathroom was wonderful - large walk-in shower, complimentary shampoo and soaps and body creams. There was a hair dryer, night light and plenty of fluffy towels. Beautiful vanity area with lighted mirror. The complimentary breakfast unfortunately brought this property down from a 5 star to a 4 star in my opinion. A lone male attendant was trying to keep up with refilling empty pastry trays, condiments and other stations while filling patrons special breakfast requests. The coffee was lukewarm, the only fruit available were bananas, the waffle makers took about 4-5 minutes to make one large waffle, toast and bagels were available for toasting - when refilled, premade omelets, hash browns and turkey sausage and croissants and muffins (available when filled). This is clearly a two person responsibility. The parking is free and convenient and the free Wifi works great. The Pool and Gym areas are very nice and clean. Would recommend this venue if you don't expect too much from breakfast.
