On the plus side, I had one of the friendliest check-ins of any hotel. The man at the reception was not wearing a name tag, and so I cannot acknowledge his great service. However, the room was a big miss, despite its many nice amenities (e.g., a full kitchen, a spacious bathroom). I got a one-bedroom suite, which I thought would insulate me from noise in the hallway. However, the walls here are paper thin, and so I heard pretty constant noise from the family next to me and their multiple screaming children. I could actually make out the words they were saying to one another. According to Google, this is a 1986 Travel Lodge that was later converted into a Marriott. The walls seem to be a remnant of the original hotel. But the worst part of the room is that the bedroom is the only room with a window. The living room has no natural light at all. Think about how much you would enjoy spending hours in a room with no windows. For the desk, instead of having a large lamp with a flexible arm, they have a small lamp with a fixed arm. I just found the whole living room like a dark crypt, especially at night. I didn’t enjoy the stay at all. The refrigerator's motor made a constant loud thumping sound, and so I had to turn it off. Finally, the breakfast was a disaster. When I arrived at 8 am, there were no hot food items left and no coffee. So, I had to wait around with a throng of people for these items to come from the kitchen. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel, mainly because of the absence of natural light in the room, which I found depressing.

“Improve the Breakfast Buffet!”

We went down to breakfast at 8am on Friday July 31st. The breakfast room was pretty crowded with hotel guests. I went to the small fridge to get some yogurt and there was hardly any yogurt left. I mentioned this to one of the staff but I think there was a language barrier. The hot entrees were severely depleted as well. The staff weren't on the ball since they weren't replacing the food items when they were almost gone. It was also very noisy as well. There was a mother with a young child in a stroller and this young child was constantly crying and/or screaming. It would be nice if the hotel would have a soundproof area where the mother and her young child could have their breakfast without disturbing the other hotel guests in the breakfast area. I have stayed at this hotel before and I felt that the breakfast buffet offered better value in the past as far as food choices were concerned. I would stay at this hotel again but I feel that the hotel management needs to "step up their game" and improve on the food choices as well as ensuring that the staff bring out fresh food in a timely manner when the existing food supply is running low.

“Great little apts”

Great place happy friendly staff enjoyed our stay felt like little apartments . Clean and fresh. Bed was super comfortable. Pool was a little chilly but so fun
