This Holiday Inn is located very conveniently. The Fallsview Casino is directly across the street, Skylon Tower just behind the hotel, lots of places to go for a bite to eat. The Falls are a short walk down Murray Hill. The hotel is a small 6 story hotel that has been around before the Fallsview Casino & area got built up with lots of highrise hotels. The rooms have balconies which are great considering all the newer hotels built in the last 20 years do not have them. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds. Our room must be one of the renovated ones as it had hardwood floors. Shower pressure was great, bathroom was a regular type space. The one thing that is great is rooms have a mini fridge. The ac was good so that the room wasn't hot or stuffy. Hotel is easy to navigate as it is small. If you use the back entrance you must use your room keyboard to access entry after 9pm. Staff are great at check-in as they are quick and friendly. Parking is free around the back. Definitely stay here again

stayed at Holiday Inn Niagara Falls - By the Falls and overall had a mixed but generally positive experience. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere felt warm, although the hotel appeared to be undergoing renovations—there were mirrors and construction signs in several areas. The room had some drawbacks. The sofa bed was very old and torn, and the bedding was already placed inside it, which made me unsure how recently it had been cleaned. Breakfast was below average in quality, but the staff were attentive and provided good service. One of the highlights was the free parking and the Enchanted Package, which included tickets to Skylon Tower—definitely worth it for the experience. However, sleep quality was poor due to noise from nearby rooms (babies and children). I recommend avoiding rooms with two queens + sofa bed, as they are located near the elevator and tend to be noisier. If I had known, I would have chosen a standard two-queen room instead, even though the sofa bed option costs more. If possible, try to stay on a higher floor (like the 6th floor with upgraded rooms) for a quieter experience. I also wish the hotel provided coffee in the lounge area. On a positive note, the location is excellent, and checkout was just as smooth as check-in, with friendly and helpful staff. Overall, I would stay here again—especially with the Enchanted Package—but would choose my room more carefully next time.

“Mediocre”

Not the greatest check-in. Room not ready till after 3 even though early check in was requested. Vague times provided. Room cleaning is mostly a miss. As I write this it is after 4pm and still waiting. Lobby has no real idea how much longer. Both sliding mirror doors busted and falling off rails.… more

As I write this it is after 4pm and still waiting. Lobby has no real idea how much longer. Both sliding mirror doors busted and falling off rails. Very dangerous with kids. Had to remove them and place against wall. Fridge broken too. Vending machine not accepting any debit or credit card so forced to pay for water at in hotel restaurant. Most hotel chains offer comp water bottles. Many overhead pool lights not working, trash in areas for days. Overall not impressed with this hotel. Seems to have gone downhill over the years.
