Despite having a minor fire in an ice making machine with resulting unserviceability of the elevators reception was very prompt and welcoming. Close to the downtown area. Free secured underground parking, although available spaces may be limited if the hotel is fully booked. The room looks new and the carpet is clean. “Great place to stay.”
The hotel is easy to get to off of the highway, and was super clean. The room and were both spacious. The breakfast wasn't busy at 6am when they opened, but the second day, it was packed from 9-10am. Free parking, a huge room, and very friendly staff. Granted, the location is not exactly walking distance to anywhere interesting in Ottawa but you are close to the public transit, the railway, and the free parking has in/out privileges. Rooms are very big and clean, parking area is large and secure. It’s not real close to any of the main attractions but it’s within driving distance.
