We stayed here for 7 nights in late June, 2026. We were in town to see a couple of Blue Jays games, and some other various sightseeing. The hotel was excellent. Downtown hotels were all over $700 a night due to the World Cup being on - we were able to get this Embassy Suites for $230, plus $30 per day for parking. The room was large and clean - it was a 1 bedroom suite. Bathroom was large with lots of counter space - walk in shower. We were on the top floor so hot water took 30 seconds or so to arrive, but was always very hot. Bed was big (king) and very comfortable. Bedding was good. 2 TVs - one in the main room, one in the bedroom. Room was very quiet - we were quite near the airport and heard almost no airplane noise. They run a free shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes. Drivers were all friendly and were not hunting for tips. The airport then has a train to downtown that takes 29 minutes. It runs from the airport every 15 minutes. That was a great way to get to and from downtown. Driving downtown in not a good idea as parking is scarce and expensive. The shuttle to/from the airport and train downtown worked perfectly. Returning from the airport to the hotel is a little dicey as the hotel shuttle runs every 30 minutes, so if you just miss it you could be waiting for 30 minutes. If you're in a hurry you could catch a cab from the airport to the hotel for about $20 The hotel had a free breakast with an omelette bar. Great food - lots of choice - , and real china and silverware. There was also a free happy hour daily from 5-7 PM - 2 free drinks per person, and a few cold snacks - chips etc. The bar/restaurant was very good and reasonably priced - burgers, fish and chips, steak sandwich etc. Lots of parking ($30 daily fee) which seemed reasonably secure. All staff were friendly and helpful. Lobby is quite pretty. There were 3 elevators, and all were working at all times, so no long elevator waits. There is no pool. There's a fitness center which we did not use. All in all a great stay!

“Outstanding Salmon and an Unforgettable Dessert”

I had a wonderful dining experience at Embassy Suites Restaurant. I ordered the Atlantic salmon, and it was perfectly cooked; juicy, flavorful, and served with delicious sides that complemented the dish beautifully. For dessert, I tried the coconut crème brûlée, and it was absolutely outstanding. Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert, and this was honestly the best one I've ever had in a restaurant. The texture was silky smooth, the coconut flavor was perfectly balanced, and the caramelized topping was flawless. The food quality exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

“Pleasant visit”

Very near the airport with many restaurants nearby. Not a typical Embassy (not an atrium). Good breakfast included as usual. Property is well maintained, and the housekeeping crew was good, and friendly. As you can imagine, some airport noise

I recently stayed at Embassy Suites and came away with mixed feelings about the experience. The hotel’s location near the airport is undoubtedly its strongest feature. The complimentary shuttle service runs every 30 minutes, is easy to find, and takes only around five minutes to reach the hotel, making it very convenient for travellers. However, there were several frustrations from the outset. Despite the parking garage being almost empty, guests are charged CAD 30 per night for parking. On arrival, the check-in system was down, so we were unable to access our room and had to leave our luggage in storage until the system was restored. The lobby is modern, spacious, and comfortable, with attractive water features and plenty of seating. Our suite was equally impressive: clean, modern, and spacious, with a great view of the runway. The blackout blinds worked well, and the air conditioning was powerful, although it became quite noisy when the fan was running continuously. Unfortunately, the problems continued once we reached our room. The fire alarm was emitting a constant low-battery warning beep. Attempts to contact housekeeping and reception by phone went unanswered, forcing us to return to reception in person to report the issue. It then took approximately 20 minutes for someone to arrive and replace the battery. The room itself was well equipped with a safe, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, and complimentary bottled water. Unfortunately, the fridge was not working on the first day, leaving the water warm. The USB charging ports were also outdated and unable to charge newer devices such as an iPhone 17. The bathroom was spotless, with a powerful shower and good-quality towels. The bed was very comfortable, with soft pillows and clean, crisp bedding. Breakfast was disappointing. The selection was limited and lacked variety. There were consistently long queues at the omelette station, with only one chef operating two cooking stations. I ordered a vegetarian omelette but found a piece of meat in it. The omelette was also badly overcooked, with a burnt, acrid flavour caused by food sticking to the pans. The use of pasteurised egg mix resulted in a poor-quality omelette overall. To the hotel’s credit, the staff handled the complaint well. They apologised immediately, prepared a fresh omelette using real eggs, and later sent a plate of fresh fruit and a handwritten apology to our room. This was a thoughtful gesture and demonstrated a genuine effort to make amends. Aside from that interaction, however, many staff members appeared uninterested and disengaged, particularly at reception and in other guest-facing areas. Overall, I would recommend Embassy Suites for travellers looking for a convenient airport hotel with an efficient shuttle service and comfortable, well-appointed rooms. However, the expensive parking, operational issues, indifferent service, and underwhelming breakfast mean that the overall experience falls short of what I would expect from the brand. Rating: 3/5 – Great location and comfortable rooms, but several service and maintenance issues detracted from the stay.
