“Good stay”

The rooms at this hotel are very small and basic. The bathroom is very small and the shower over the bath difficult to access. There are no safes in the room. Also no air conditioning but we were able to borrow an electric fan which was a life saver. There is a large outdoor pool which is cold. Pool towels are provided. There is a bar with a good range of drinks including a happy hour. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is quite close to the main street where all the restaurants are situated. Breakfast is a buffet and adequate.

Small rustic rural hotel well situated not far from centre of a very small town. Rooms are basic, small in size, just managing a double bed, the bathroom was cramped and we had to sit sideways on the loo to get our legs in. Shower only, no bath. No safe, bottled water or tea provided in the room. Wifi only available in reception area. Reception is small but was manned 24/7 and they spoke English (some better than others) - but you are out in the sticks here! Bar has a happy hour but service was rather slow, so don't leave it until 5 minutes before the end! Breakfast on both days was a takeaway box as we left early. This was perfectly adequate and prior to leaving tea and coffee was available in the restaurant area. Open plan area for reception, bar, restaurant and this causes issues with noise when people get up early to go on trips, the sound carries right down the corridors despite the fact they are most probably trying not to be noisy. The pool area was nice with ample sunbeds. We did have noise issues late at night (after 11.30pm), being on the ground floor a group of people started dragging chairs around outside our window and were going to settle down for a party by the pool, until my husband opened the window and shouted at them to be quiet. They then went to the restaurant area, so the noise continued, as it echoed down the corridors. In the morning when our tour leader complained for us, reception denied anything happened, trying to blame local bars.....despite them being by the pool outside our window!
