I had an amazing experience in San Pedro de Atacama, this place truly felt like a home away from home. It has that perfect “Instagram-worthy” charm that immediately caught the attention of my coworkers when I shared photos. But beyond the aesthetics, what really stood out was the incredible attention to detail. Every aspect of the stay felt thoughtfully designed and carefully maintained. It’s a place that combines style with genuine comfort, and I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

The communial part of this hotel of which one spends a lot of time is far removed from the desert. We felt it was more like a huge university building with no soul or warmth. The communial part of this hotel of which one spends a lot of time is far removed from the desert. We felt it was more like a huge university building with no soul or warmth. The check in procedure was quite intense and overwhelming but understand it was required to work out what expeditions were best suited to us! The guides and tours we experienced were excellent. In our opinion we never felt totally relaxed in the large brightly lit dining area or the bar with uncomfortable seating. Bedrooms were functional but a bit tired. Camilo and Maga in the dining room were great and tried to help but a lot of the staff didn’t speak English. Overall a well organized establishment and great way to experience the desert of Atacama but too big for us.

Behaved more like an B & B then a hotel. Very quaint facility representing the special architecture and views of this beautiful area of Chile. Staff was friendly. However, appeared very empty despite the front desk personnel stating they were full and always busy. Very limited staff, to provide check in and out, dining or spa accommodation, and other supposed amenities stated in their literature and front desk. Many times there was only one person handling everything not only at the front desk but facilitating bag transfer to the rooms and other chores. No one ever answered the phone or was available for questions at the front desk. Unfortunately, one has to go through the front desk to schedule just about everything. Even then, all amenities have limited times to schedule. For example spa services had to be pre scheduled way in advance and only certain days, and only in the afternoon. Transportation to town (Caracol Street) was not reliable and had to be scheduled only at the front desk. Pick up was unreliable and although they required us to WhatsApp message the front desk or call for pick up, no one ever answered. There was very limited alternative ways for transportation in San Pedro like Uber (nonexistent) and very limited if any taxi’s. All roads are clay/dirt, dark, and a distance from the city center from the hotel. So not easy to walk. So be prepare for a more rustic experience without a lot of hotel services.
