“Pleasant stay, good service, good location”

We stayed at the hotel for two nights, while visiting Conce. The staff was very professional and helpful. The breakfast was good (eggs, meat, bread, cereal, cakes, coffee, juices, fresh fruit, etc) and included in the room price. The free wifi functioned well, throughout the parts of the hotel we used. The heater worked well. We were in a room facing the street, but the windows kept the noise out quite well. I think that if it had been necessary to have the window open, the noise would have a little too much for me. Everything in the room has in good condition - not a single maintenance or cleanliness issue during our stay.

The Hotel HD is almost in the center of Concepcion and is a really nicely kept and comfortable hotel. The rooms are well designed, the service is really friendly and supportive, the breakfast is various and anything is well installed. Only - a little bit problematic (for foreigners) is that most of the staff does not speak any other language than Spanish. Things are solved however very quickly, but e.g. the restaurant is difficult to attend if no-one can help you with advice. Anyhow - I felt very welcomed there and would recommend it for your stay!

We were booked for 6 nights and were welcomed so grandly. From the garage,our bags, concierge (front desk), and wait staff, we were treated royally. Special thanks to the front staff for helping make reservations (dinner & spa), printing out a map and sharing directions, and canceling our stay without any faces or bad energy. I don't consider myself too high maintenance, but after 6 nonstop days of jam packed work/travel and the 6 hour drive from Santiago, I was ready for some comfort. The hotel claims to be remodeled but it's very hard to believe. Some rooms don't have air conditioner, it's pretty noisy depending on your room, some rooms don't have fridges. My room had 1 tiny trash can in the bathroom and only gave me 1 bath towel- took a shower upon arrival 10pm then in again in the am, but it was still wet. If you rent a car, be prepared to get out each time you pull up to the hotel to let them know so they can open the garage and the spaces are teeny. Breakfast was Ok and filled with carbs & sweets (cupcakes), coffee not as good as it should have been. The gym was 2 elliptical, no treadmill, water, mirrors or windows facing city. On another positive note, the wine they had by bottle was incredible and cheap! Recommended by the manager? Again the service was impeccable and deserves 4 stars! However, I'm tired, want increased comfort and am at the Radisson!

I was 2 time at this Hotel. First time I stay over 8 days and had a very nice room at 5 the floor. After 3 day I booked again for 3 nights. I bargin the price, because I found at internet for 53,00 $ US and they told me they get me only for 73.00 $ US. Than it start all wrong. I came to the hotel. … more

I was 2 time at this Hotel. First time I stay over 8 days and had a very nice room at 5 the floor. After 3 day I booked again for 3 nights. I bargin the price, because I found at internet for 53,00 $ US and they told me they get me only for 73.00 $ US. Than it start all wrong. I came to the hotel. The room was not the nice room - it was a un renoweded room, wifi internet not avilable, I ask to change the room but the staff says all other rooms are occ. It wasn't true. When I check out the carge me in Pesos and when I exchange to US $ it was 83,00. I spook to the Lady, but they ignore me and my driver was waiting outside, so I cant invest more time and acept this for he moment. I contact after the hotel by e-mail. Still waiting for answere - but it ist just less then one day. Fazit: Some very nice rooms, exelent service and staff, but also some full negativs. More positivs than negativ
