I needed a hotel near Dongzhimen and other hotel I would normally stay at was full. I booked this hotel very last minute through C-Trip and although I was late to check-in, they still let me check-in. The staff there were very sweet and helpful. The room had a really nice window with a nice view. I didn't get a river view though, maybe other rooms have a river view. The room was clean and comfortable. The only reason I didn't rate the hotel as excellent is because I tried to change the temperature of the AC and it seemed to be pre-set. This was only a problem when I had the covers on, which made it too hot. Otherwise the room temperature was perfect, not too hot, not too cold. The breakfast buffet had a nice array of Chinese and Western style food. I also went to the cafe during the night and the food was not bad, neither were the prices considering it is a hotel restaurant. I will definitely stay here again and I would definitely recommend it.

I was here on December 2012 for a business trip, it is located in north east of beijing in foreign countries embassies neighborhood. every normal services such as room service, WiFi and breakfast in this hotel was quite good and satisfying. most of costumers were there for business trips. there were very polite fluent English speaking receptionists available all the times. they provide exchange services with the right rates too which is very time saving in comparison with the Chinese banks. the laundry service is also available with good rates in short time. Beijing subway system is also available in a close distances. the only bad point i felt was that i smelled small amounts of dusts coming from carpets. generally it is a good choice for business trips.

I have stayed here more than 10 times over 2 years, and never been disappointed. It is an economy hotel, but great value. Internet connection, reasonably quiet (by Chinese standards), decent breakfast (cereal, fruit, eggs, coffee - this is not common in China !) and western food in evenings (again not common, their chef knows how to cook Western food properly) reasonably priced. 15 minutes walk from Dongzhimein metro station which is also on the airport train line. Quiet neighbourhood, a general store just 100 m away selling fruit, biscuits and coffee. In-room kettle allows you some independence. Sound-proofing between rooms is not ideal, so take earplugs in case. Uzbek restaurant on ground floor wing is not recommended. Use the hotel's restaurant instead.

Nice hotel, on the expensive side, choose it because close to embassey where I needed to go, Booked a queenbed or larger, room had 2 single beds, after much argument re this and being lied to ie hotel is fully booked no other room to give u, when I told them ok I will leave they found a room directly oposite suddenly empty, nice room well furnished, clean, went to use AC nothing, called asst mngr to be told hotel ac has been turned off, by now late at night and we were tired so put up with it. Had dinner there, pork spare ribs..just a few bits of broken bone with very little meat, However breakfast was very good, good selection, egg station etc, in all before you stay check and make sure the ac is working or stay somewhere else, at 500Y a room a night and in a 4 star hotel ac is the min I expect its a nice hotel spoiled by complete stupidity, No airconditioning who wants to breathe Beijing air all night?
