Perfect location to explore Beijing ,as near Metro_Jinyu Hutong Ststion, , APM Mall, Wangfujing Street, Forbidden City Palace, etc), is highlight of this hotel. You can feel luxurious style (old style) of this hotel (as previously named Crown Plaza Beijing Wangfujing) with well maintenance. There are 2 shops of 7-11 not far from the hotel. I stayed at this hotel during Labor Holidays as cost approx USD 100-110 per night (not incld breakfast). Highly recommended

“A bit outdated but friendly staff and a great location”

We stayed here for 6 nights to explore Beijing. The hotel used to be a Crowne Plaza which you can see a bit when staying there. It is an old hotel but is maintained quite well. The Crowne Plaza used to have a pool but they closed this off since it became Guo Ji Yi Yuan Hotel. This was clearly stated online so not a surprise, but I just want to mention it here. I personally don't mind, I did not see a need for a pool during our stay. Maybe they will redo the pool one day (or change it to something else). Location: The hotel has an indeal location in my opinion: - Right at Wangfujing avenue which is a main shopping street. - A short 10 minute walk to Jinyu Hutong subway station (green line nr8). - Close to a Diji Minfu Roast Duck shop (very good Peking duck, but waiting time high). The hotel even has a small convenience store inside (or 7-Eleven across the street if you prefer that). The staff: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. We had some misunderstanding regarding the procedure on laundry, but they were friendly and fixed it. We did not understand that we first had to pay at the front desk before we received the laundry (we are used to it being charged to the credit card of the room). Breakfast was ok, not outstanding but also not bad. It was a decent buffet with lots of choices. Overall a good hotel for a good price. A bit outdated but still ok with friendly staff and decent breakfast. Location was most important for us.

Dated facilities inside but service is fine. We had a double bed and one single bed room for 3 and the room is large. Even larger is the bathroom that has a tub in the middle, a stall shower and there’s even a scale. Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, body lotion are all provided for, including tooth brush, comb and shower caps. They have no self service laundry and their laundry is the next day service. The gym looks clean and ok but it has no kettlebells which are what I need. You can book with or without breakfast and the buffet breakfast costs 98 RMB is definitely more expensive than getting a street snack. Location is super convenient for food and some high end shopping.

“Cozy Stay”

Room is very spacious, clean & cozy. Hotel staffs are very helpful specially the staff in Concierge (Forgot his name). There are KFC, Seven-Eleven, Halal Restaurant and Wangfujing Street. Hotel is bit old. Breakfast option specially for Muslims are very limited.
