We had a fantastic stay at The Peninsula Beijing, made even more memorable by the exceptional service from our butler, William. He introduced himself and added us on WeChat during check-in, making it incredibly easy to reach him whenever we needed assistance. William was consistently attentive, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay, always checking in at the right moments without ever being intrusive. As we were celebrating a birthday, he thoughtfully arranged a beautiful birthday decoration in our room while we were out. Walking back into the room to see the surprise was a wonderful moment and made the celebration even more special. William's professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care truly stood out. His service embodied the warm hospitality that The Peninsula is known for. Thank you, William, for making our stay such a memorable one. We look forward to returning.

“An exceptional stay, with premium service from start to finish”

We had a great stay for a week at the Peninsula. We were looked after from the moment we arrived, until we left. Our 2 young children were also thoroughly looked after by our host, Elias, who did an exceptional job at entertaining them and keeping them busy with all sorts of different activities.

From our arrival to our departure, we were made to feel right at home at the Peninsula Beijing. The staff were incredibly gracious, welcoming and accommodating. The guest suites were generous, well-appointed and comfortable. Our meals were delicious, and the chef happily accommodated some unique dietary requests. The breakfast buffet was a highlight and offered something for everyone! The hotel was conveniently positioned for our itinerary. Our family hopes to have the opportunity to visit the Peninsula Beijing again!

优点： 入住体验很好，前台的Alan帮我们升级了房间，从普通大床房变成了阁楼套房，退房时另一位前台给我免了巧克力的费用，这些都挺好。 缺点： 客房清洁非常令人失望！我们入住当天发现卫生间地板有红褐色污渍结合地点不得不让人怀疑是人排泄物），自己尝试了一下可以擦掉，于是立刻请客房服务前来打扫，地板污渍是打扫干净了，但几天住下来，日常用品补充不上，吹风机线散在那儿，床也没好好整理。虽然污渍出现时酒店当天值班经理前来房间，但也没有作出任何补偿，且入住几日的清洁水准一直没有改善，整体体验因此打折。 Pros: Alan at the front desk was very helpful and… more

While we didn’t find the loft layout particularly more practical, we still appreciated the gesture. At checkout, another member of the front desk team also waived the charge for a box of chocolates we had ordered, which was a thoughtful way to address our concerns. Cons: The housekeeping was unfortunately very disappointing. On the day we checked in, we found a reddish-brown stain on the bathroom floor. We tried wiping it ourselves and realized it came off easily, so we immediately contacted housekeeping to have it cleaned. Although the stain was removed, it was concerning that such an obvious issue had been missed before our arrival. More disappointing was that the housekeeping standard never improved during the rest of our stay. Daily amenities were not replenished properly, the hairdryer cord was left tangled instead of being put away neatly, and even the bed was often made carelessly. The duty manager came to our room after we reported the stain, but no goodwill gesture or service recovery was offered at the time. While the front desk later waived the charge for our chocolates at checkout, the overall housekeeping quality remained consistently below the standard we expected from The Peninsula Beijing, and it noticeably affected our overall experience.
