The front office staff especially Mike, Jay and Manager Kadri was extremely professional, friendly, and attentive, always ready to help and were very accommodating to my simple requests swiftly. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the service exceeded my expectations. There is a mall with a supermarket opposite the hotel and also The friendship Store (central city East) is just within walking distance. Beijing Street is about 2KM away and although strategically situated between two MRT stations, which made commuting around the city very convenient, I took DD instead. The breakfast spread was generous with vast selection of food and included options suitable for those observing halal preferences. Hailey was able not only to remember my name but also my room number on the second day when I went for breakfast. My spacious well-designed room on the 40th floor had a very nice panoramic view and I loved the squarish bathtub. They even provided the bath salt! The hotel internet is incredibly fast, which is not common in most hotels in China, even 5-star hotels. The hotel masterfully combines comfort, convenience, and inclusivity, resulting in a standout experience. I’d gladly return and confidently recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou was excellent overall. The rooms are spacious, well designed and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive throughout my visit which made the experience even better. A special mention goes to Soufiane and Yaseen at the 6th floor Hookah Garden as their hospitality and friendly conversation made for some memorable evenings. The Skyline 63 lounge is a must visit for every guest. The panoramic views of Guangzhou’s skyline are breathtaking, especially at night when the city lights come alive. The hotel’s location is another highlight with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Breakfast was enjoyable with a decent variety of dishes, though I would have appreciated a wider selection of halal options. That said, it is understandable given that halal offerings can be limited in China. Overall, Crowne Plaza Guangzhou offers a comfortable and welcoming stay with great service, a convenient location and stunning views. It is a place I would gladly return to and recommend to anyone visiting the city.

The hotel lobby was nice, the initial room we were given was outdated and smells like cigarettes. They were kind enough to move us to another a room, which was much much better. However, their breakfast buffet was a waste of money. The halal section was one small table with just Indian vegetarian dishes. There are other halal restaurants near by which would have better selection. With the amount of Muslims visiting the hotel, you would think they can dedicate a halal Chinese cuisine.

The hotel overall was alright. There is still area for improvement on various areas such as the breakfast, the breakfast wasn’t the best, especially the area where they prepare the eggs, the chefs there don’t seem to be very welcoming and have an attitude at the eggs station, on the other hand raja was outstanding always showed his unconditional support . The hotel is 5-stars yet it’s not meeting the standards of a 5 star hotel, the extra bed the I ordered was very firm and strong not suitable to sleep on.
