Nice hotel, very well accessible by car. The lounge and the restaurant ist modern and stylish, service in a high standard. The suites are breathtaking and absolutely worth the money. Internet access for hotel guests is comparably slow, you cannot use it in the evening hours. The access in the public area on 1st floor was slightly better.

“Good hospitality, the WiFi could have been way better”

No restaurants / attractions nearby, but the hotel has its own lake. The WiFi service was very bad. Rooms were very clean. The in-house restaurant staffs provided very good hospitality. The breakfast menu could have had more varieties.

“Reasonable stay”

I arrived late at night and the room was not at the standard of doubletree. The shower had visible signs of mould on the walls and the room was alittle dusty. Overall the receptionist was super nice and so are the wait staff at the restaurant who helped with my request to have takeaway breakfast and coffee. The hotel feels alittle old and outdated.

“No Food For Late Arrivals”

Second time staying here this year. Love the lake view rooms. DO NOT EXPECT NORMAL DOUBLE TREE SERVICE STANDARDS HERE. I took a 4pm flight from Beijing that was slightly delayed, then there was a long drive here to The Double Tree. Famished, the first thing I did when arriving in the room was to look for the room service menu. There was NO room service menu in the room, and when I called they told me the kitchen was closed so there’s no room service, 不好意思，which means “Embarrassed”. It’s a common, meaningless courtesy that actually means “I don’t care”. I asked why a Hilton doesn’t have a night menu for late arrivals, and at 9:42pm, I didn’t consider that very late. The “embarrassed” but not embarrassed lady who answered the in-room dining connection went and asked someone else and came back about ten seconds later with “oh it’s because of Covid-19 that we don’t have room service.不好意思” No. It’s because of poor service that you don’t have room service. Nobody checked my temperature or health code as I entered the hotel, so the hotel is NOT concerned about COVID-19 at all. Why would you lie when a frequent traveler and Double Tree guest challenges you? The Double Tree in Ningbo was so much better. So, I can’t write your hotel or that employee a positive review, 不好意思。 Now, back to my dinner...a sugar-bomb cookie.
