We stayed at Paco Hotel for 6 nights.usually we book much better hotels in Guangzhou. This hotel is average, for us it was a winner just because of location, it's right across the street of Zoo metro station. Hotel is clean, I have to say that rooms are nice, water bottles everywhere to take with you. Breakfast is really poor. Good if you are asian, as there are mostly Asian meals. Ok, you have eggs, toast and some fruit. The rest was vegetable noodles, vegetable rice, some dumplings, etc. For drinks only black coffee and some artificial juices, nozhing freshly squezed. Hotel stuff was ok, as you can imagine their english was really bad, so take your time with them. Overal, hotel is ok.

“Conveniently located near Zoo station”

We booked this hotel as it is newly opened in 2018 and due to the high rating we saw on the web. However, it didn't seem so new, or perhaps we were expecting more of the hotel. We booked this hotel as it is newly opened in 2018 and due to the high rating we saw on the web. However, it didn't seem so new, or perhaps we were expecting more of the hotel. However, we do see nice touches to make the room more elegant. Breakfast served on the 16ht floor is so-so, with mostly Chinese breakfast. There is no bar or restaurant on site. But I decided to give it a four rating as it is clean and most important, conveniently located near a subway station (Zoo station), giving easy access to the airport and to railway station by subway. As I learnt how to take public buses at the bus stop right in front of the hotel, it further became more convenient to get to Tianhe and other meeting places in just a few minutes if I can't get a taxi.

This is a newly built hotel across the street from the Guangzhou zoo mtero exit. It's a typical modern Chinese business hotel. The service is only so-so, but it's clean and does the job for an overnight stay. It's not very expensive, approximately 500rmb per night per room, so you can't expect 5 star service. Breakfast is edible only, I recommend only eating the Chinese breakfast items, as the Western items all taste a bit weird. Typical of having a Chinese chef told to cook Western food when s/he has never tried eating real Western food before. But again, the breakfast buffet is nicely laid out and it's clean, so it does the job.
