“Good business hotel in Guangzhou”

I've spent two weeks in Pearl Garden Hotel during a business trip in Huang Pu, the industrial area near Guangzhou. The hotel is a good standard, very close to four star level. It is about one hour by car far away from airport and almost one hour from city centre. Main entrance and lobby are very large and give the idea of a luxury hotel. Standard rooms are large and comfortable. But I suggest to clearly ask at reception to have a no-smoking room, otherwise the smell of smoke in the room can be unpleasant. At 28th floor there is a restaurant where is possible to have chinese - style breakfast and lunch. Hotel staff is friendly. I was there during my birthday and they sent a birthday cake to my room free of charge. Very nice ! I recommend this hotel to western travellers who need to stay in the industrial development area.

“Good hotel”

Very Good place. I have been there for business, But I feeling such I was at home. It is near to many factorys, marketing, good Stores. The employees are dedicated and competent. During my visit there, a tyfoon was in the City, the hotel team provide me all informations to be save.

“I would say it's above Chinese average”

Many facilities, comfortable rooms, nice internet, quite cleaned, common international breakfast and dinner. Near central street with a lot of markets and small restaurants. Nothing important. I went for business there and I would back again.

The rooms are quite nice, even though already aging. But no complaints here- cozy, clean and comfortable. King-Size bed was extremely hard and therefore comfortable as well. The rooms are quite nice, even though already aging. But no complaints here- cozy, clean and comfortable. King-Size bed was extremely hard and therefore comfortable as well. Everywhere in the hotel you can feel strange smell of moist. You can get used to after 2-3 days. Many amenities, like swimming pool, restaurant were not working when I was there. Breakfest- the biggest minus. Theoretically, there is everything you can have for breakfest- from Western to Chinese cuising. Problem is that around 8:30 everything is finished and no one is bringing new ones. So, basically you can only admire empty plates and eat whatever is left. Glasses for juice- when they get finished are replaced with plastic cups. As there is a street fool of local food 5min away, it is much better to eat there. You can reach city centre in less than 1 hour if you go by taxi + subway. Hotel personnel rather does not speak English.
