“Good escape”

Totally isolated peacefully facility with great spirit receptinests. Unique style with unique atmosphere. Nearby attraction places. I would suggest escape there any time during the period October-March.

This hotel is a part of a theme park. I stayed on 2011 for 1 day with a tour package. The park overall is just like a mini-town. I really like the theme of the hotels. There are about 4 themes, and this one is the Car theme. Many antique automotive decorations at the lobby. The rooms are just like a parking spot. They who loves cars or rally must love it. But of course because of the location is out of town, you can't go anywhere by walking. The service is okay. And the breakfast is alright, various drinks, and more like American breakfast.

We checked in this hotel for one night after a game of golf at Windvalley Golf club in OCT East Shenzhen on 5 Nov 2014 . We chosed this hotel because it is very near to the golf course (7 mins drive/20 minutes walk). OCT owns a few hotels in the vicinity , the most expensive ones are probably Interlaken and Black Forest. Besides proximity , cost was the other consideration given that we needed just a place to rest and unwind after a game of golf in the afternoon. The rate we paid was RMB 485 per night for a standard room with king size bed . The hotel is modeled much along the lines of those in motels in USA . The exterior of the building facade is interestingly designed like caravans . With that price, we were pleasantly surprised with the rooms. Big, clean ,basic toiletries included and come with free wifi . Breakfast provided was reasonable . The hotel provided free shuttle to the golf course the next morning . The downside of this hotel is that there are little night activities available except for sports facilities. The nearest spa is at Interlaken. there is a small KTV place in the hotel but it was empty as the hotel occupancy rate was low that day. Free shuttle bus is offered to the other OCT attractions within Windvalley. But do note it comes at every hour timing only.

I just back to my home and can't wait to write sth to share. OCT is actually very Chinese style MONEY MONEY all the time. First you need to pay for bus from the park to hotel. Then you need to pay for room upgrade as hotel said we booked TWIN room even voucher wrote KING room. I have no idea and so tried to argue after almost two hours bus. Room is not clean and no fridge. Breakfast is sucks, bread seems like three days before with lack of choice. The good things is the bell man very nice and the indoor pool is great. Choose this hotel if u r looking for good price. But it locate the top of the mountain, not easy to go to city. Don't choose room near elevator, a lot of people pass by your room and window is faceing corridor, not outside. If u open window means everyone can see you.
