We stayed for 3 nights. We had some confusion on arrival. As we came out of the train station the hotel is directly across the street but this part of the hotel was under construction! We went to the next hotel for directions which was up the next street & enter through the car park. We had a large room with a comfortable bed, good aircon & a good size bathroom with walk-in shower. Wifi is very slow if it is working and some of the furniture is quite worn. The hotel is in a good quiet location right by the station, 5 minutes walk to the Chinese Folk village & the street behind has a 7 eleven & some restaurants. A very pleasant stay.

“Clean hotel but inconvenient to get around!”

It is conveniently located right in front of the train station, but this hotel is so hard to navigate especially if you are put in a different wing of the hotel, which means there is a lot of walking to do, just from the lobby to your room. It is conveniently located right in front of the train station, but this hotel is so hard to navigate especially if you are put in a different wing of the hotel, which means there is a lot of walking to do, just from the lobby to your room. Not very disabled friendly, and too many steps. Also they only give one room card key, which is a bother. Overall, am marginally satisfied with this hotel. Almost never gonna come back again.

Opposite lies the Splendid China Folk Village, offering a rich cultural atmosphere, and the beautiful sea view is another highlight. Behind the property is Overseas Chinese Town, with convenient access to nearby stores, making the overall environment highly attractive. However, there is room for improvement in service details. While we were enjoying breakfast, a staff member replenished napkins directly in the middle of our table. This approach somewhat affected our dining experience. A more suitable method might have been to take the napkin holder to a nearby table for replenishment before returning it or waiting until guests finish their meal to perform such tasks. Although this is a minor detail, it can significantly impact the dining atmosphere. If more attention and refinement were given to service processes and etiquette, it would undoubtedly create a more comfortable and pleasant experience for guests.

“It is time to make renovation ”

Coming back for many years, maybe trendy decade ago and today comparing other hotels 🏨 already outdated. Missing fresh look. It is ok to stay but without good feelings. Breakfast 🍳 offer is nice experience with many choices
