“Old but good hotel”

Just 400mts.away from Guomao metro station. Large and clean rooms. Helpfull staff. Price is mostly included breakfast. Strange thing is they order breakfast from McDonalds. They should replace towels with new one. Price is reasonable.

This was our first visit to mainland China. I'd booked this hotel as it was very near to one of the main Metro Rail lines. We stayed at this hotel from (likely) from 27th June, 2017 to 29th June, 2017. Main issue was that of the language barrier. Almost no-one spoke any meaningful English. I'd to resort to "Navigator" App downloaded maps to guide us to our advanced booked hotel. We were traveling from Guangzhou airport bus to Shenzhen. According to bus route, the Guangzhou - Shenzhen bus was to have its last destination at Shenzhen Railway station terminal. However, the bus driver let us off almost 20 km before the hotel we had booked(as found from the "Navigator" map). We had diffculty in making taxi drivers understand as to our destination hotel. After making several map based sign language exchanges between myself and the "Electric" taxi drivers, one finally agreed to take us to "New Times Hotel" (booked by us online) We reached the hotel and the concierge staff informed us in very little English that we had booking. The rooms were great. I guess we were placed on the 16th / 17th floor. As we had difficulty in making them understand that we needed lunch now, we immediately decided to go to nearest McDonalds (the map showed that it would be 1km away) We stayed three days(nights), except the language barrier, the services of the hotel were very good.

“NICE HOTEL IN POSH LOCALITY”

the hotel is a basic business hotel. nice clean rooms with english speaking staff at the reception. very helpful front desk specially cecilia at the reception very polite and helpful, helped me with the address of indian restaurant. the building has a yoga center where one can take yoga class, very… more

the hotel is a basic business hotel. nice clean rooms with english speaking staff at the reception. very helpful front desk specially cecilia at the reception very polite and helpful, helped me with the address of indian restaurant. the building has a yoga center where one can take yoga class, very nice. the building has a restaurant and a spa too but i did not try them. the whole area around the hotel makes you feel nice in the evening sometimes people dance on the roadside and whole atmosphere feels amazing

“Strategic hotel, but meal must be ordered from outside”

Do not be surprised or dumbfounded when viewing the food delivery boys passing by in the lobby or elevator corridor without being checked by hotel security first. Do not be surprised or dumbfounded when viewing the food delivery boys passing by in the lobby or elevator corridor without being checked by hotel security first. Breakfast is not included in this hotel as well as meal if you need for dinner or just snacks because they don't have restaurant or mini market. I had to order it from outside or ask the receptionist to order. Location of the hotel is very strategic which surrounded by supermarkets, restaurants and business buildings. Room was clean, not smelly and spacious and psst........there is 'rubber' in the bath room.

There were water damages showed on the walls. Molds were on the edge of showers and sinks. A proper cleaning and maintance would go a long way for this hotel.
