PROS: Location: 2min walk to convenient stores, 5min walk get night barbecues/suppers/local restaurants, 10min to the little man-made island with shops and cafe's and McDonalds' (where we had our b'fast next day) and KFCs, 12 min to the dameisha beach. Room: we got a honeymoon room and it's pretty large and nice (around 40sqm). But shouldn't a honeymoon room be facilitated with a bathtub? Value: comparing to other hotels that closed to resorts/scenic spots, this one is pretty good value, around maybe 500r/n, ro, you may get a honeymoon room on weekends. CONS: Cleanliness: We found something like a piece of bread (or may not) under the chair?! Facility: Pool not opened, and we don't care as we swam in the sea. Pattaya? Hotel names sounds pretty Thai style, but it's only the decorations outdoors. Don't have much in-room features to surprise us. In all, actually might not come back again and the beach (dameisha) have a exaggerated reputation and not really worth the 2nd visit we drove up from Guangzhou and I don' t know why there are so many people in the beach.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference at the Vanka Centre which is ten minutes away. I didn't have time to explore the vicinity but it seemed pleasant with shops selling food and sundry goods. I stayed at this hotel for a conference at the Vanka Centre which is ten minutes away. I didn't have time to explore the vicinity but it seemed pleasant with shops selling food and sundry goods. Pavement was well maintained and roads well lit at night - certainly didn't feel unsafe. Staff and reception were efficient and it probably helped that I speak Mandarin. Room was spacious and reasonably well furnished although I could only find one power point. Free wifi worked better than at some hotels in the US! Breakfast was adequate with limited selection for Western food but ample supply of fried noodles, vegetables and porridge. There was a liquid soap cum shampoo dispenser in the bathroom (shower stall) but no soap. (Just as well I brought two pieces.) There is a kettle in the room and packets of tea are provided but not coffee. I could hear music from the lounge below but that stopped at eleven. Not 5-stars but worth the attractive price paid!
