“Was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food”
I've been to a number of hotels in China and the rooms and service has always been to a high standard. Howard Johnson Kangda was also to this standard but they also had an amazing variety of food at their buffet, really high quality and great presentation, western, eastern cuisine you name it. A very decent place for a business visit stay. Hotel staffs and desk are superbly good. Very helpful and can speak and understand good English. Rooms are quite decent and big with extreme clean. “5 Star Hotel in the new Economic & Technology Zone in Huangdao”
While the Howard Johnson brand in America is a bit dated and not considered high end in China it has 5 Star status. Hotel and rooms are clean and good sized with attentive service. the room space and condition is fair, but for the breakfast quality and the taste is not so good, and nearby also not so much restaurants choice for eating, I think I will select another hotel when next time visit Qingdao
