“Clean room, great service, wonderful breakfast”
The hotel was picked for us as part of a tour package. We were very pleased, the carpet was new, as was the entry way granite flooring. “Perfect place for one night.”
Golden River View hotel is perfect if you only stay one night at the end of our 12 days guided tour from Jet Tour and if you get a Chinese guide to check in and out for you. “First time in Shanghai”
This hotel was a good place to stay, quite well located. Staff don’t speak a lot of English but that’s to be expected. Maybe a little over priced for what it is but comfortable and clean enough. Reasonable shopping and food very close by.

Hotel is well situated, near a subway station. The rooms are big and the breakfest ist good. But the staff is very unfriendly and not helpful at all. The hotel is quite old. The carpet in the rooms is disgusting.
