This is an interesting place with a unique round design that gives you an idea of a 4 star luxury hotel from, oh, 40 years or so ago. The lobby is grand and polished. Rooms are large and clean with nice views of the city from the upper floors. The bathroom is adequate but like much of the furnishings, could use some updating. I did hear moderate amounts of noise in the hallways and nearby rooms. Wifi is free, but you need to log in with either a Chinese phone number or with your WeChat account, so if you are a foreigner, consider downloading WeChat before you arrive. It's about an 8 minute walk to the subway, along a street lined with elegant trees and a canal. You can also walk fairly quickly to the Nanjing Museum. For the price, a good experience.

“Nice, old hotel ”

I visited Nanjing and stayed in this hotel for two nights. Hotel is old but room is clean. Staff are super nice. Breakfast is just okay compared to other hotel I stayed. The hotel is not too far from ZhongShan maintain national park.

Stayed here on business for two nights. Actually it's a decent hotel and much better than I expected for the price paid. Not comparable in terms of amenities to Western hotels but part of the charm(?) of China is staying in various local, non-chain hotels. That said, there is not a lot to offer in terms of amenities. I ate at the breakfast buffet and it was OK but nothing special. There is very little in terms of restaurants in the immediate area. Walking distance about the only thing really interesting is the Ming relics park which is about a 10 minute walk. You can walk to the Nanjing museum as long as it's not on a hot day. The layout of the floors is circular. Rooms were very decent overall and staff was nice but it helps if you speak Chinese believe me. Condoms located among the bathroom amenities for your convenience; just be sure to check the expiration date before using....
