“Nice”

I stayed only for one night at Fujian hotel. My room was quite good. Comfortable, excellent after a busy day. Breakfast good. Traditional Chinese breakfast. One positive aspect was laundry service. I asked to them urgent service and a couple of hours late my clothes were available at my room.

“Short Business cum pleasure trip”

We had 2 rooms, each room have got 2 twin queen size bed. Pretty large & very comfortable. Room cleanliness is up to above average. Service Staffs are good and helpful. Breakfast provided with quite a selection for your satisfaction. Of course, they also provide a good display of local food, but I prefer the western buffet spread, which is quite palatable. Distance from Pudong Airport is 51km, but one could travel by their local Railway. From their Hongqiao Domestic Airport travel distance is very much nearer. By railway to City Centre & many places of interest the distance is average 20 to 26 km. Quite convenient via their various Railways and/or under grounds lines. Around this hotel there are also nearby food outlets/restaurants, interesting selections. Shopping Malls too. Had A very relaxing stay.

Hotel is quite close to Hongqiao airport, only an about 20 min drive or so. Rooms are quite large, although some don't have a window. The bathroom has a tub and a shower. Water quantity is good. Beds are reasonable soft and comfortable. Electric plugs are next to the bed and desk, they take all kind of plugs. Internet is Wifi based and of below average speed. VPN worked as everywhere else in China. Facetime and Skype worked reasonable well. Didn't try the breakfast.

“it's alright.”

I stayed here for 8 nights. it's actually a nice hotel, but it could def. use some improvements. staff didn't speak English at all, which was difficult to communicate with. also for whatever reason, they did not accept my travel visa at check in, which JW Marriottat Pudong East gladly accepted it. … more

I stayed here for 8 nights. it's actually a nice hotel, but it could def. use some improvements. staff didn't speak English at all, which was difficult to communicate with. also for whatever reason, they did not accept my travel visa at check in, which JW Marriottat Pudong East gladly accepted it. Room was pretty nice, however it has some issues: - hairdryer did not work in the bathroom. turns out the electrical outlet had a problem- I can only blow dry my hair at the desk without a mirror. I had someone fix it but the conclusion was to blow dry else where. lame. -rusty ceiling in bathroom area. -didn't change out stained sheet. not sure why they even put a stained sheet on the bed to begin with? I took it off the bed and put it on the floor but they insisted on putting it back on the bed. after two attempts, I gave up. -wifi was free but so terrible. -no English channel on tv. had to entertain myself with images on tv. -linen could use more softener. -didn't change out robes. my stay came with breakfast, but after two days of breakfast, I was bored. it had Chinese and western options, but the western option was really bad. even the scrambled eggs were not good. how can you do that? on the other note, their handmade noodles were good. I ended up eating noodle soup almost every morning. oh, a gross factor- they had a piece of long black hair in their salted duck eggs and didn't change them out! a small gym overlooking the side street on the treadmill. indoor swimming pool which I didn't get a chance to use. overall, an ok hotel, I would continue to stay there since I work so close to that hotel when i'm in shanghai.
