Excellent stay in terms of guest service. Truly appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a suite. Very kind hotel staff members. A lot of variety of food to eat for breakfast. Extremely clean room and hotel. Well done, housekeeping team. Thank you for the welcome fruit. Also, it is nice that the hotel provides four bottles of water every day. There are a few convenience stores nearby as well as a good hotpot restaurant right next to the hotel. Very good restaurant behind the hotel for local Sichuan food. There are also a couple of parks next to the hotel which are good for taking a stroll. Yet, it is very far from the downtown area of Chengdu and there aren’t else much to do or see near the hotel. It is still under development, but once it is fully completed, it should be a very good place. However, there is a metro stop very close to the hotel. Line 1, West China Int’l Expo City Metro Stop.

“Wonderful facilities and staff.”

Near new hotel in a newly developed district. Many small restaurants close by as well as 3 convenience stores. About 45 minutes from central Chengdu.Hotel staff are very helpful and courteous. Some staff speak excellent English whilst others have wirkable English. MTR station is 7 minutes walk away.

I stayed in this Holiday Inn on July this year and experience exceptional hospitality from Felicia. She really took care of us on the entire stay and have been very helpful and caring throughout our stay. Will definitely come back to this hotel. Keep it up Felicia you are the best

I stayed here for a week and experienced the exceptional hospitality this hotel offers. The rooms are huge, with sweeping views of the construction going on in this new part of the city. A new Metro station recently opened one (very long) block away. Exit E is the closest to the hotel. I was dubious when my company booked me here: in the United States, Holiday Inns are forgettable, bargain accommodations. Not so in China - this was easily a four star hotel. Each staff member was friendly, eager to help and most spoke good-to-excellent English. When I came down with a miserable cold, each one asked how I was feeling for several days, including the General Manager, who seemingly never leaves the hotel. The breakfast buffet seemed endless, and the food was intriguing and approachable for a westerner. I found the coffee to be exceptional - each morning, I had a cup of coffee that was brewed from freshly ground beans and was a cross between an espresso and a French press in flavor and body. In terms of sleep quality, this hotel nails it with a very comfortable bed. My room had a choice of firm and soft pillows. I find Chinese rooms to be warmer than I like, but I was able to adjust the thermostat to cool off the room. One window opened, but depending on air quality, you may prefer to keep the windows closed. Note that when you remove the room key from the sensor by the door, the A/C will shut off. If you return late in the evening, your room will be warm. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner and bath salts were provided. Toothbrushes, a razor, cotton swabs, cotton pads, shower cap, a blow dryer, loofah, robes and slippers were also provided. As is typical, there was a kettle, instant coffee and tea bags in the room. A supply of free bottled water was provided daily. The restaurant in the lobby isn't open on weeknights, but there's a very good Chinese restaurant on the second floor inside the hotel. Outside of the hotel, there's a convenience store next door and an excellent hot pot restaurant outside the front of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again - I can't imagine a better lodging in this part of Chengdu.
