“Great stay”
Arrived early after flight was early. Tried to see if could get an early check-in. Reception were really helpful and told us to go to restaurant for breakfast and they would have a room ready in an hour. “Upgraded, but disappointed.”
This review depends on your priorities. I was upgraded to a suite with a river view which was great. The wifi was very stable, I streamed the Olympics no problem. “Sofitel is gone, now it's a Chinese-owned brand hotel”
The service in Sofitel was quite good especially before 2020, before the covid happened. But it's a hotel in Chengdu for long. Equipments inside are with history. Transportation is convenient but not much to see around though located in the city center.
