Highlights - I was overwhelmed by entering the upgraded loft room with stunning view of the mountains and lake. The kitchen toilet and huge living room plus the bedroom and a complete full equipped bathroom upstairs. The space is huge and the interior is modern and up-to-date. - The hotel location is very close to the railway station and completely quiet at night - The lobby is huge as well as the restaurant - Unfortunately the executive lounge was closed due to less visitors but I received 200 CNY as compensation so I used the voucher for my dinner in the restaurant - The gym is relatively small compared to the size of the hotel, but it’s sufficient to do some physical exercises Improvement potential - Due to the low season and less hotel guests the majority of the service staff are somehow getting bored

Our stay at Hilton Lijiang was an absolute delight. The hotel is stunning, and the indoor pool is one of the largest we’ve seen in China — beautifully designed, peaceful, and perfect for a post-sightseeing swim. A true highlight of our trip. Special thanks to Richard Li at the front desk, whose warm welcome and thoughtful assistance made check-in and every request a breeze. We also want to recognize Eric Wang from the restaurant / breakfast team — kind, attentive, and always ensuring we had a great experience. Hilton Lijiang combines world-class facilities with heartfelt service. Highly recommended!

“THE BEST HILTON HOSPITALITY EVER IN MY 14 DAYS YUNNAN TRIP.”

For this 2 weeks hilton trip across multiple cities including Kunming, Lijiang, Dali and Shangri la, I would say this is the best hilton experiences ever. 1 stayed 2N at this property. For this 2 weeks hilton trip across multiple cities including Kunming, Lijiang, Dali and Shangri la, I would say this is the best hilton experiences ever. 1 stayed 2N at this property. As Diamond member, I was upgrade prior my arrival to the duplex suite room which is super spacious and amazing. I was greeted and chekd in by the most helpful and super kind guest relation Manager ( Mr Richard ) He speaks English well and even he gave me his we chat for easier communication throughout my stay. To make it more personalised, he even escorted me to the room and do a short tour about the suite which is great and truly reflecting the great hilton hospitality. Later a welcome fruit amenities was sent to my room and there was a turndown service as well with some snacks provided. For your information, executive lounge is not operated during my stay. But it is totally fine as they compensated with 200 yuan vouchers for 2 persons per day These vouchers can be used at the restaurant which give guests more flexibility especially as a muslim traveller. Kudos to Mr Eric Wang from the restaurant for helping me throughout my stay with halal diet and requirement. He did a great job in translating all the Chinese ingredients so that it fits to my halal requirements. I am truly thankful for that. Indeed this property will be my new favorite and definitely will pay a visit next time when I revisit Lijiang.

Overall one of the more disappointing Hilton properties, therefore I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Pro’s: -Large rooms with a great view -Early check-in + late checkout was available -Nice location for outdoor running, with a lake next to the hotel Con’s: -Overall service might have been the worst I ever encountered at a Chinese Hilton property - the staff mostly watched at there phone. There was not even a “good morning” or “good bye” at breakfast -Breakfast quality is rather low, in particular the coffee, black tea and bread. In addition the breakfast buffet was somewhat messy and the staff was once more rather unmotivated -Gym only opens at 10:00am and was 26 degrees warm, so exercising there is rather limited -Diamond members receive a 200rmb voucher for the restaurant. However, the food quality at the restaurant is rather low and the service is once more slow and not particular welcoming -Location is far from any touristy attractions Overall I preferred the other the Hilton properties in Lijiang, especially since they were even cheaper.
