Stayed at Villa Fani for a week end of August. We booked 2 rooms as a family and we loved our stay. Contrary to the previous review, we found the staff and owners very friendly and accommodating. We arrived in the evening to be greeted with beers and water! They don't want parties into the night - Its a high standard of accommodation Very professional and superbly managed. We like the fact that the Villa is exclusive to hotel guests because this made the swimming pool always available for a sunbed and space to swim and relax also, as it is small it was peaceful and relaxing. We used the BBQ area a few times which was lovely on an evening with gorgeous views. The reception is open most days and staff are helpful if you have questions. Trogir is a 10 to 15 minute walk. There's a boat that also runs into Trogir. You'll see details as you walk along to the beach. We loved Trogir with its gorgeous restaurants, bars and lots of lovely shops. Beach is a few minutes walk. There's supermarkets and a great bakery to grab fresh bread. Lots of restaurants and bars within easy reach. We did a few trips. On the beach front a few mins walk away there's lots of excursion stands that you can book through. We did a private speedboat trip to the islands for 300 euros. We left at 9am and came back at 1pm. This was nice for snorkeling and swimming. We also did the full day trip to Mostar (Bosnia and H) This was amazing totally recommended. In summary Small boutique property Good standard of apartments Parking onside Lovely pool with sunbeds available BBQ facilities available to sit out and eat on terrace Nice resort with beach and town within walking distance Lots of excursions if you wish to go further afield

“Uphill Climb to Villa, not for the faint hearted!”

We really enjoyed our stay in beautiful Croatia. The villa was very pleasant and it was quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is fairly basic but everything was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay in beautiful Croatia. The villa was very pleasant and it was quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is fairly basic but everything was very clean and comfortable. I would have appreciated a more frequent change of towels and bed linen. We stayed for 10 nights and I think we had 3 changes. Also, you need your own towel for the sunbeds. There is a small pool which was perfect for cooling off after being out for the day in some very high temperatures. The walk up to the villa is extremely steep so please be aware if you have any mobility issues.
