Spent five happy nights here after escaping a dreadful Pension in Pribram. From the moment we walked in the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, friendly and helpful. Top marks to every one of them. Our room was spotless, wifi worked and air conditioning was excellent and much needed as it was quite warm during our stay. Breakfast was pretty good with hot and cold selections. We were not told that it is served later on Saturdays however, so be aware of this. We walked in at 7.30am as we were checking out early and it was still being prepared. The lovely breakfast attendant told us to sit down and proceeded to serve us anyway! The impressive main square is several minutes walk away. The Pilsener brewery is maybe 15 minutes easy walk. Dozens of restaurants are also within easy walking distance and there's a huge supermarket with some fast food outlets just behind the hotel. Try the Aussie pie shop, Skippie, run by a Czech guy who lived in Australia for several years, just off the main square toward the Synagogue. Excellent! Loved our stay here and would return if in the area.

Lovely, decorated boutique hotel with two of my favourite icons Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe very clean and well presented hotel about 10mins from Pilzen market square. Self check-in. Good communication with the hotel. Good breakfast room, but small and the cooked breakfast could have been hotter. The bar area is also available for your breakfast. They also have Proceco available for breakfast, so the bucks fizz went down very well, nice breakfast treat 🤭 Walking to the main square as said only took 10mins or less and I felt safe walking around even dusk set in and walkingback to the hotel. There are so many eateries to try, historic places to visit which also includes Pilsen brewery being about 15 mins walking away from pilzen square. My bedroom and bathroom were clean and spacious,the bed was comfortable and I slept well. I had a peaceful stay, no noisey guest or people banging doors as I do like my peace and quiet. Nothing worse than annoying hotel guests. The staff, are accomadating and work well and on hand if you have a question. I would definitely recommend the Riverside Hotel, and would definitely revisit again in the future.

A quiet business hotel just outside of the city center. The area is linked to the center by a pedestrian bridge over the river Mze. When I was there a few days ago, the access to the center via the bridge was closed, so you had to use the busy bridge for normal traffic. The area gives a bit of a dodgy feeling after dark as there is little lighting and plenty of gypsies and immigrants hanging around. Big rooms but basic. The price per room is a bit on the high side considering the location, state of the hotel and breakfast.

The city center is not very far which is great and there is a parking spot free of charge in front of the hotel. The room was ok, just the bed was very uncomfortable. We asked for a double bed and they just put two single bed next to each other, that slipped away the entire night, leaving a hole in the middle of the bed. In addition there was dust under the bed and the lightbulb in the room didn’t work. Breakfast was ok.
