We traveled 2 families with 4 children ages 2, 3, 8, 9. We had 2 rooms with the bunk beds for the children. Lets start from the end: I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel as a general. Lets start with the good: 1. The waterpark is nothing short of amazing, i've been in a couple waterpark hotels, and this is by far the best water park. The facilities in the water park are top notch, i personally liked the pay with the wristband chip everywhere which was super comfortable. There are many water slides, and they are all operated by stop lights and not humans, and people actually obey the lights, which makes the line go super fast. Most of the rides are 8+, but honestly except from 2 rides even younger kids of 6+ can do it with no problem. A lot of bars around and the whole area is big and fun for the whole family, we arrived every day at 10am and left around 7pm, and the children wanted to stay longer. Overall this is the highlight of this place. And due to the fact that 95% of the park is indoors this is a good option of every weather. 2. We had breakfast and dinner, the food is good, enough options for grownups and children, we never felt like there is not enough options or left hungry after the meals. 3. There is a small children area in the dining room with games, which is amazing, you can leave the kids there to play and eat in peace :) 4. The rooms are ok, clean and generally well kept, we had an issue with the shower and the maintenance guy arrived quickly and fixed the issue. 5. The staff in the reception is very nice and helpful, and helped us more than once during the stay. 6. The hotel is generally clean and well maintained. 7. There is a huge supermarket in front of the hotel, which literally has everything you need, and even a small pharmacy. One thing that is a personal preference that we and our friends had issue with: The blankets were a bit short and the pillows weren't very comfortable, again, this is personal so i won't put it agains the hotel in any way. Now for the bad things in my personal opinion: 1. The room was missing a refrigirator, i think this is a must in a hotel of that sort, so we couldn't buy any food for the kids that needed cooling like yogurts for lunch. 2. For me what bothered me the most is the lobby, there is a hotel bar in the lobby, until now i don't know if you can sit there (the lobby) without ordering anything from the bar (and there is no other shared spaces to sit at). Every time we sat there someone from the bar jumped on us asking what we wanted to order, and it always felt like a must and not optional. And in the end if you pay by credit card they would make a crooked face because apparently you can't tip them by card there. The whole interaction with the bar felt very unpleasant to us. General tips and things worth mentioning: 1. Pay attention that at the aquapark bars you get a plastic cup, you leave a 100czk deposit for the cup, and you need to return it at the end of the day to get the deposit back. 2. The center of Prague (old town) is not very close but also not very far or complicated to reach, it takes about an hour to reach from the hotel using a bus ride + 2 metro rides, we had no problem getting there and from there, the buses and metro work up until midnight. 3. We got to the hotel using PandaRide, it's a family friendly transportation company, we had a big car for 8 people with 2 child sits and it costs us around 1450czk for the whole 8. 4. The hotel itself works with a transport company of their own, we used it on the way back, it cost a bit more (2000czk), but was also a good option to get to the airport.

We recently stayed at Aquapalace Hotel Prague and had a fantastic time overall, especially in the water park, though there were definitely a few quirks worth knowing about before you book. Location & Transport: The hotel was really easy to get to from the centre of Prague and from the airport—we used Uber and Bolt throughout our stay, and each journey was around £20, so it felt very accessible even though it's outside the city. First Impressions: When we first arrived, a hotel guest was having a loud and angry argument with staff about their bill. It was a bit upsetting for our daughter, but to be fair, the staff handled it as calmly and efficiently as they could under the circumstances. Rooms & Service: The room itself was basic—clean, but it didn’t feel like housekeeping went above and beyond. It was very much the bare minimum each day, which surprised us a bit for a 4-star hotel. There were also a lot of small things that felt a bit penny-pinching—like a charge for flip flops, and an over complicated towel policy. I feel like it would have made it easier to just have clean towels handed to hotel guests when they entered the water park, instead of tying these to the hotel room. It meant we only had a towel each for the waterpark for our whole stay. There are policies and processes that seemed designed more to make money off guests than to improve their experience. The Wristbands & Payment System: The wristbands you wear for payments and water park access felt quite outdated. Ours nearly fell off multiple times in the water, and the material straps really aren’t ideal. A digital wrist band app-based system would be a huge improvement, especially one where you can check your balance and manage charges easily. One major thing to watch for is the glass deposit system: if you get a drink at the bar, you’re charged a deposit for the glass, and you have to return the glass to get the money refunded onto your band. We weren’t told this on our first visit, there's just a small sign on the bar counter. If you don't return glasses, and press your wristband, on the device drinks are almost 3 times the price. I suspect this may have been the issue behind the angry guest we saw at check-in, being unaware of the extra charge if glasses aren't returned. It feels unnecessarily complicated and a sneaky way to make money from unknowing guests. Dining & Extras: We stayed bed and breakfast, which worked well for us. There’s a McDonald’s nearby and we got room service one evening, which was reasonably priced and tasty. Breakfast was a real highlight—great variety, prosecco included, and a fun “decorate your own donuts” station that our daughter loved. The Water Park: The water park itself was the star of the show. We spent all day there and had a brilliant time, though it did get a bit chaotic at times. The wild canyon ride is definitely wild—we saw quite a few bumps and scrapes—but it was also loads of fun. It’s a big, busy space, but there’s plenty to do for all ages. A Few Final Notes: There was a random charity charge added to our bill at checkout—staff said it could be removed, but it felt like the kind of thing that should be opt-in, not something you have to notice and ask to take off. Just another example of how the hotel’s policies don’t always feel transparent. Overall Verdict: Despite a few frustrations, we had a genuinely lovely time. The water park was brilliant, breakfast was a treat, and it’s a great choice for families. With a few upgrades—especially to the payment system and customer experience policies—it could easily feel like a much more polished and guest-friendly 4-star experience.

I took my kids for a fun weekend at the water park. Even though it's a pricier treat, I know we always enjoy it. Everything was great, except that I lost my wallet – it went missing from our hotel room. The hotel investigated internally and found nothing, and I have no proof myself, so I'm taking it as it is. I appreciated the manager's approach, who handled the situation personally. Still, I'd recommend keeping a close eye on your valuables in the room.

The hotel itself was ok.We had booked the Executive rooms in the 3rd floor. We really booked because of the water park attached to the hotel and my girls loved the water park. The food is where we were let down I’m afraid. I’ve been I a lot of buffet hotels in the world and this has to be in the bottom 10 of 100. The breakfast was here and there and didn’t have a big choice. The dinner was even worse.Given that we paid nearly £400 for the 3 buffet dinner meals(including the Xmas eve Gala dinner. We were left disappointed. The Normal buffet dinners comprised of the usual lukewarm food and there was not much choice. This was the worst buffet we have had for the price. Food was overcooked period but the worst bit came when we had Xmas Eve Gala dinner.This was £200 for 2 adults 2 children under 9. I really don’t know where to start with this but I will try my best here. There was hardly anything for the children to eat and what there was comprised of overcooked chicken size and chips. The adults food was just silly.Salmon gravlax at room temperature.Pork tenderloin (the clue being in the name)Was not at all tender but over cooked.The duck breast some was ok and some was over cooked.Chicken schnitzel again overcooked and tough.The beef was probably the only food that was cooked close to how it should be. The desserts were a joke. 6-8 of those little cakes you find in cheap Spanish inclusive hotels which included a chocolate mouse all served at room temperature.It was not a pleasant experience and I have been too literally 100s of buffet hotels all over the world. Due to the water park being closed we were all offered a Prague city tour. We were dropped off at one part of the city and then needed to walk for 3 hours constant with no stops to buy drinks or snacks.We even had to demand to stop for a toilet break.Most of our bus group couldn’t get half was through the tour due to the hard graft that was needed.Kids were crying and people got lost at times due to the city being so congested with millions of people.Of course when we returned from the tour we had a whole hotel of people some 400-500 people all wanting to get back to their rooms,so this became a bottleneck and took some time to do. The hotel was convenient as it was attached to the Aqua park but that’s was about it. I would not recommend eating at the hotel at all.
