We loved The Clarion Congress and can't really fault it in any way. The hotel itself is very impressive inside, with a bit of a 'wow' factor on arrival., although on arriving at 10.30am we were a little disappointed not to be able to check-in early despite having sent an email in advance. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, my only criticisms being that the room was occasionally a bit too warm at night despite having the temperature turned down and hanging space for shirts etc is limited if you're staying for more than a couple of days. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts are great, with an enormous selection of food. The position of the hotel is excellent - half an hour away from the city centre with a very large shopping centre attached to the hotel with everything you need including half a dozen places to eat and a large supermarket. The hotel is situated right next to a metro station and a couple of minutes from tram stops - we used both while we were there. Public transport in Prague is second to none - easy, clean, punctual and very frequent. One ticket gives you access to metro, trams and buses. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would very happily stay there again.

“Professional but friendly staff make up for some imperfections”

I have stayed here only for a night but my experience was good. Nice reception, staff helped to get me a room a wee bit before check in time (my flight from Asia landed 7am and I was knackered). The room was decent, with two single beds so not greatest but it did the trick. I appreciated provided high quality bottled water (large) as I was parched. The bathroom was the biggest weakness as it had a bathtub with shower head but no curtain / glass cover so water splashed outside and there was no drain in the floor - that took a large towel to dry! Morning breakfast was an absolute mayhem - so many people in a very large dining area.. there was a large selection but food was average (beans tasted very bland, sausages and eggs were okay, pastry underwhelming). On the other hand, hotel is connected to shopping mall and there was a plenty of good selection for breakfast! I got to a point where I wanted to extend due to change of plans but hotel was almost sold out and last min price was over €200/night which was a hard no. Would still come back some day if the price was halved lol

“Great hotel 10 mins from city center”

We recently stayed at the Clarion Congress for 3 nights as first time tourists to Prague. We prefer our accommodation to be away from the city center, and this was perfect. With access to the metro via the adjoining shopping mall, the commute took just over 10 mins on the B line, so getting in and out of town was no issue. Our stay was peaceful and relaxed, and I would highly recommend. We arrived almost 2 hours before check-in thinking we'd have to wait, but as our room was available we were gratefully given early check-in. Petra was fantastic! She promptly carried out the essential admin tasks before giving us a virtual tour of the city on the map she provided, along with info on how to access the metro etc. She truly is an asset and an ambassador for your hotel. Our room on the 7th floor was spacious and spotlessly clean (a theme for the whole hotel). The bed was huge and comfortable, w and the large window offered a view of the small park across from the hotel. Air-conditioning kept the room at a perfect temperature and feeling fresh, the bathroom was clean with a decent shower. Plenty of storage for our clothes, with 2 laundry rooms on lower floors for last minute washing or ironing. Breakfast each morning was an experience, with probably the largest selection of breakfast foods I've ever experienced. It had everything! We enjoyed a cooked breakfast every day, accompanied by the freshly cooked pancakes and some of the hotels own honey. Coffee was from bean to cup machines, and my espresso was great. With a pastry to finish it off, we left each morning fully fueled for a day's exploring. We also had lunch in the hotel on our first day, and this was our only disappointment of our stay. We reviewed the menu online from our room before heading down to the bar area to order, but we were informed the online menus were not available and we were presented with a different menu. This was a reduced menu compare to what appeared online, and didn't have any of the dishes we were looking forward to trying. Not a big deal, but an easy fix to update the web page. As a note, the hotels access to the shopping mall brings you straight into a small food court with a decent choice from 5 or 6 vendors, so there is always additional options. Overall it was a great stay, and I would recommend to anyone looking a reasonably price stay away from the city center, but with great access to transport links.

This was our last 2N stay in the Eastern Europe trip. Clarion Congress Hotel Prague is a large modern Hotel in Vysočany, just a short 15 mins drive from the historical centre of Prague. The best part is that it is connected to an adjacent shopping mall where one can just drop by. We did and bought some simple stuff from Billa. But do take note of the closing times, earlier in the winer months. It is a big Hotel and registration-dining Hall are at Level 2. Our room is at Level 7 and lifts transit is smooth. My room was big and spacious and amenities are complete, there’s complimentary water and more TV channels then the other earlier hotels. The bar counter and the small build-in fridge is nice. We did not try the cool coffee machine in the room though.. We only do not like the heater, not too easy to do laundry compared to our earlier hotels’ experiences. Breakfast is served daily in the large Veduta restaurant and the spread is very good, lotsa choices to select. We only have a full bf here over 2-days as we have to catch a flight to Doha on the last morning (6am!). And the Hotel was so good that they help packed a simple set for us. Good gesture!
