Just returned from staying at this hotel for 12 nights in a Junior Suite and couldn't be more impressed either by the hotel, rooms or staff who work there. Although I'd asked to stay again in Room 303 which is where we stayed in 2022, that room wasn't available so we were allocated Room 207. It still offered the same great space, separate living area with well-equipped kitchenette, big bathroom and huge bedroom with street views. As we were staying here for 3 nights and then returning 3 nights later for the longer part of our stay we asked if it was possible to store some of our luggage until our return and the Reception Staff happily agreed to do so free of charge which was a really nice and appreciated gesture. Also, we were informed that Room 203 would be available when we returned so that was another example of how far the staff go to satisfy guest requests. Room 203 offers the same facilities as 207 but with the added bonus of a small balcony and impressive street view. We even asked for the small cups to be changed for bigger mugs and this was swiftly arranged too. For a small charge we arranged a late check out until 2pm and were also given a quick tour of the Royal Suite as we expressed interest in staying in that room the next time we visit Prague. Every staff member that we saw during our stay was pleasant and helpful and add to the quality of this impressive hotel. The hotel is located in an historic building with many ornate and impressive features, a 5 minute walk from Museum and IP Pavlova Metro Stations and similar to the same named tram stops with a pub/restaurant downstairs. There are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants in this busy area of Vinohrady too.

After finding the main entrance (which is confused with the Deminka Bar) we ascended the most unexpected flight of stairs in this truly historical building full of architectural charm, what a gorgeous building! The reception staff were very polite and very very helpful with tips for sightseeing around their city and dining out. The room assigned to us had a street view, was of good size plenty of room to move about. Bathroom was super clean and well provided for; towels, toilet roll etc. The hotel is very central, tucked behind the National Museum and a ten minute walk to Wenceslas Square We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return, soon.

“Nice service, clean hotel”

Great service, this is a very nice hotel. All rooms clean, friendly reception and night recommendable. They do not serve breakfast but there are plenty great breakfast restaurants nearby this hotel. Metro entry is closeby and only a 5 minute walk

The Deminka Palace is a good quality accommodation for those on a budget that want a bit of class and charm. Our room was extremely large and had loads of space. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. The building has clearly had a previous life as apartments therefore there are some quirks - sockets not where you'd expect (halfway up a wall where a cooker hood was once plugged in for example) and our room had its own independent gas boiler in the bathroom to take care of our heating and hot water! It being the height of summer they had thoughtfully provided a fan although there was no air conditioning. Wifi worked well and was fast enough to join a teams meeting. Staff were really friendly and helpful although our hairdryer in the bathroom wasn't working and I'm not sure they entirely understood what our issue was when we reported it. as we were only staying 3 nights it wasn't that much of an issue. There are many varied sizes of room depending on the location in the building so look carefully and make sure you request one that suits your needs.
