Very quaint hotel. It has a real “soviet” style atmosphere. I really adore the old fashioned kettle and electric hot plates. It reminds me of growing up in the 1970s. It was like something out of a Milan Kundera novel. On the downside, although there are cups, plates etc in the room, there are no sachets of tea, coffee, or even bottled water in the room. My flight from the UK was late and I arrived after midnight. It would have been nice to have been able to make a cup of tea. This facility is standard in UK hotels of whatever star rating. It’s virtually free to provide and is such a courtesy. The hotel is situated slightly away from the centre of Prague in a quiet area. There are restaurants and shops nearby, and it’s right next to a police station! So you will be safe! Prague is a beautiful city and this hotel is in a beautiful street.

Very basic hotel, absolutely no frills, within walking distance of the new town, old town and all other main attractions, the room was spacious and there was a kitchenette hidden away inside a wardrobe, which we never used, we never went down for breakfast although this was within the price, beds... more

Very basic hotel, absolutely no frills, within walking distance of the new town, old town and all other main attractions, the room was spacious and there was a kitchenette hidden away inside a wardrobe, which we never used, we never went down for breakfast although this was within the price, beds were hard and bedding was very flimsy, one pillow each which had no life left in them, we will return to Prague but will stay elsewhere.

Came here for one night and it was fine, very basic room. 24 hour reception which was handy as many local hotels do not. Two minutes from metro stop. On a very busy road so ask for a room out the back. Didnt have breakfast as it was expensive. No hair dryer for the ladies. One night is fine... more

“Decent and value for money”

I stayed in room 105 for two nights. I reccomend this room as it overlooks a courtyard that is very quiet so no noise from the street which made for a peaceful night's sleep. This is a basic hotel but the room I stayed in was a generous size, the kitchenette is quite good really, and there's a decent shower. The toiletries are very basic and the hair dryer isn't very good. Ample space to hang clothes. Wi-fi is inconsistent. The pillow on the bed was terrible. Plugs appear to only work when light switches are on. Breakfast is rather sad - better off making something in your room. Staff friendly and helpful. Location suited me and I was able to walk around with ease.
