“Great location”

The location was super, with a market right outside the door and easy walk to Town Square, Charles Bridge, shopping, etc... we also walked to St Vitus Cathedral and Palace area & we're not young! We were there 2 nights & it was perfectly adequate. It was warm however, and the room was stuffy... more

The location was super, with a market right outside the door and easy walk to Town Square, Charles Bridge, shopping, etc... we also walked to St Vitus Cathedral and Palace area & we're not young! We were there 2 nights & it was perfectly adequate. It was warm however, and the room was stuffy. We kept window open in the evening as long as we could, but there was partying going on in town so it was pretty noisy. Also the twin beds were a little soft for our liking, but that's on us. There was no free or otherwise breakfast . they did have a refrigerator on the 2nd floor. No lift, but we didn't expect one.

“Amazing location”

Very average 3* hotel, a bit dated, very limited services (ie, no restaurant, bar, other facilities) but is in an amazing location. 3 mins walk to the Astronomical Clock, the old town; 5 mins walk to Charles Bridge. 15 mins walk to Prague main rail station. If you're looking for a a reasonably priced placed to stay in the city centre its very good. No frills, no luxury.

I’ll start with the good. This hotel is in a great location with a fantastic Italian place right across the street along with a street market open right on the street. It’s walking distance to major attractions like the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and the Jewish Quarter. The down side is we did a 10 day trip to multiple cities (meaning a large suitcase and bag for each person) and there was no elevator. Also, no AC even thought the reviews say there is and fans are first come first serve. It was very eccentric with its artwork and the fact that there isn’t someone onsite but all-in-all I would stay there again...if I had lighter luggage.

Overall, this is a great hotel that’s in a fantastic location, but there are a few things that could’ve made our stay better. 1) There is no elevator. Overall, this is a great hotel that’s in a fantastic location, but there are a few things that could’ve made our stay better. 1) There is no elevator. So if you have heavy luggage, you need to be able to carry/drag your bag up a couple flights of stairs. 2) The guy at the front desk didn’t seem to have any idea as to what he was doing when we checked in. He got our groups rooms mixed up, and messed up everyone’s passport info, so he had to come back and get them a second time. 3) There was an AC in the room, but it was apparently broken, or nobody could figure out how to get it to work. Also, it seemed like there were oscillating fans in every room except ours. So our room had stale air the whole time we slept. 4) Since it is located in a very popular area, it gets very loud at night. Make sure you have earplugs or some kind of sound generator if you are a light sleeper. Like I said, overall the room and location were fantastic, but there were a couple of things that should be worked on (working AC/fan and more helpful staff) or that you should be prepared for (no elevator and noise).
