This hotel is in a heritage building so no lift or air conditioning which was a problem being so hot at the time we were there. We were supplied with a fan.The room itself was large and comfortable with a huge seperate bathroom. The breakfast was adequate. The location is fantastic right in the middle of the old town but there is no parking anywhere so make sure you know where the parking is before you get there. It is a short walk into the hotel. Wifi was a bit dodgy.

“Very Comfortable and Quiet Hotel”

Located right in the town centre. We actually stayed in the Leonardo II down the street from the main Leonardo Hotel. Our room was a good size. Bathroom was very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Check in happens at the Leonardo so there are no hotel staff in this building. A nice place to stay.

A terrific hotel in most respects: it’s a charming, atmospheric historic building; my room was spacious and pretty, with antique decoration; good buffet breakfast in the building next door. Parking worked well - I was able to bring the car to the hotel to unload; the car park is an easy 10-minute walk away. And of course the hotel’s in a fantastic position, right in the centre of this most lovely town. Česky Krumlov is basically pedestrianised in its entirety, meaning traffic noise isn’t an issue. The one problem is nearby church bells - which go throughout the night. It was impossible, unless you accepted being woken regularly, to leave the windows open for fresh air - which meant the room got uncomfortably warm, even in November. Ear plugs made no difference. So sadly I wouldn’t go back unless the issue is fixed, and this issue reduces what would have been a rating if a ‘5’ to a ‘3’. Hotels in Česky Krumlov are of course not the only ones to have this problem. But surely they could club together and ask the church or churches not to ring their bells between, say, 11pm and 7am? This has happened in other places in Europe that previously had this issue. I’ll look forward to news that the problem’s been fixed and returning to the Leonardo.

Your best access to the pedestrian zone area is drive past P3. Get your car parked shortly before or after the bridge, bring your suitcase by walking 200 m to the hotel and return to get your car parked at P3. Your best access to the pedestrian zone area is drive past P3. Get your car parked shortly before or after the bridge, bring your suitcase by walking 200 m to the hotel and return to get your car parked at P3. The hotel can give you a 48h P3 ticket for CKR 500, otherwise it is 40 per hour! The hotel is located at a lovely small square, 100 m from the main square. But make sure that you get a room at the back in tourist time (9 months per year), as there may be a lot of noise during the night from tourists. The rooms are spacious and atmospheric. However, the shower is miserable in a bathtub, as you cannot stand up. Staff is very helpful, the breakfast is adequate and to Czech standards.
