This is my first time in CPH and I booked this hotel on Amex Travel hoping I made the right choice. I booked 2 nights here and 2 nights at another property. I was greeted at 25 Hours by MIGUEL with warmth and hospitality. We absolutely loved the hotel and it’s in the PERFECT location walking distance to the best parts of CPH! The hotel is located on paper island and it’s truly the best part was town! After my 2 days I was really sad to leave and switch hotels. I highly regret not having my whole stay be at 25 Hours. Miguel and Alberto who work front desk should both be recognized as excellent employees. They made our stay extra special and we appreciated their kindness and professionalism. I would come back to stay in a heartbeat!!

This hotel has ALOT of great things going for it: Excellent location that's a short walk to many places but feels tucked away, gorgeous architecture, fun and modern interior design, a helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast, an awesome little gift shop, lots of thoughtful amenities (from the toiletries (love the herbal garden) to the complimentary mini bar), a beautiful rooftop bar, and an overall quirky vibe that makes it stand out from your typical hotel. You'd think this has all the makings for a five star review. And I had planned on giving that. But there was one glaring issue: The sleeping area. This is a four star hotel, and the beds they provide are the equivalent to the mattress I slept on in my college dorm. It's thin, hard, and flimsy. No box spring. Just one sad little mattress with a few pillows and a duvet that's like a foot thick. The room has great A/C, but with the duvet you either sleep hot under it or sleep cold without it. No top sheet or throw blanket. It felt like the opposite of what hygee means. And on top of that, the nightstands were just tiny stools, with charging outlets only on one side of the bed. You would think that with all the time they spent adding so many cool touches to the room- from the rotary phone to the mini painting supplies to the free snacks and drinks- it's strange that the sleeping area was basically an afterthought. To be fair to the staff, they were able to provide a mattress topper that made a HUGE difference. It saved the trip (and my back). But the fact that they had these on hand makes me wonder how often they get complaints about the bed. It just didn't match the quality of the room at all. Normally, this is the kind of thing I would just take one star off for. But the sleeping area is too essential to the enjoyment of the room. This bums me out because I reallllllly love this place. Just to be clesr: I still recommend staying here! Especially if harder beds are your thing. If not, you can always get the mattress topper. But for a four star hotel, I have higher expectations. 25Hours is a really cool brand that wears their quirkiness loud and proud. But having a little more function than form would make a huge difference for them. PS- The Amex offer is great here. The free breakfast is very good, and you can use the $100 credit in the gift shop. Late check out was easy.
