Nice, simple hotel. Cute room and beautiful building. However, the bathroom was in need of deep clean, since the shower and mixer were partially clogged by lime, the caulk had yellowed and it looked moldy in places. There also weren't many appliances, and only one pillow per person, which was perfectly fine for us, but it doesn't give that elevated hotel-feel. The location was good, close to the Central station as well as bars, restaurants and cafées. It being an old building, we could clearly hear when guests in the room above used their shower, and anything that went on in the hallway outside, with many scares that someone would walk into our room, when they were opening their own doors. Eventually, the cleaner actually did open our door while we were still in bed, 40 minutes before check-out, which felt incredibly uncomfortable and violating. Hopefully that was a first and last though. The bar is quite cosy, but unfortunately not many guests seemed to enjoy it while we were there. Their free wine glass-offer between 5-6 p.m. was appreciated!

If you are going to stay here make sure the price is good. I paid $576 u.s. dollars for three nights and it was too high for what I got. The bathroom was subpar--the toilet was right against the wall and the "shower" was a curtain put up diagonally across the tiled bathroom held up by a very cheap curtain rod that kept falling down. The room was clean, it was pretty quiet, but the bathroom was the problem. The hallway is narrow and dark and that carpet had stains. There is no refrigerator, no outside food allowed. The bar downstairs also does not serve food (other than popcorn and another snack type food). They do not clean rooms unless you ask, and if you do ask you're advised they will only make the bed and wipe down surfaces but they don't use any water. I didn't ask them to clean my room because what's the point. The location is ok - 10 minute walk from central station. There was no special event going on in Copenhagen while I was there that would have increased the room price. When I got home I checked price for the following week for the same days of the week I was there (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) and the prices were much lower using a third party app like booking.com than what I paid. I always try to book directly with the hotel but in this case that did not work in my favor. When I contacted hotel after I was home to ask about the price and voice my dissatisfaction with bathroom they just said they wished I had let them know I wasn't happy with bathroom while I was here (I did ask front desk to put the shower curtain back up ONE of the times it fell). Bottom line is I wouldn't stay here again and if you do make sure your price is reasonable with what you'll get.
