When we booked this holiday, I hadn’t read many reviews. Only after booking the hotel did I start reading them, and honestly, I became a bit worried and even wanted to cancel. However, I’m so happy that we didn’t. The hotel and atmosphere are very nice. The rooms are always clean, and the staff are genuinely kind — you don’t need to tip them for them to be nice to you. They are making improvements every single day, such as changing beach beds and updating things in the rooms and bathrooms. The entertainment team is really impressive. They have great communication skills, are friendly, and always happy to have small talks if you want to chat. The shows performed by the entertainment team are really enjoyable. I especially loved the dances they did at 10am and 3pm — it was so fun and energetic! Regarding the food, breakfast is usually the same every day, but there are plenty of options. There is a chef making eggs fresh for you, and you can ask for an omelette, baked eggs, or scrambled eggs — completely up to you. Lunch and dinner are always different. For those who have allergies or cannot eat certain foods, please note that there are no signs explaining what ingredients are included in the dishes. You will need to inform the reception team or the chefs, and they will be more than happy to help you. Just to add, during our two-week stay we did not experience any food poisoning or stomach issues. Also, there are people walking around the beach trying to sell horse rides, camel rides, and other activities. They can be a bit annoying at times, but it’s their job, and sometimes they don’t take “no” for an answer and may ask multiple times a day. The rooms are very close to the beach, and there are signs along the walkways so you won’t get lost. If you ever need help, you can always ask the hotel staff — they are always happy to assist. One negative thing I noticed (which is not the hotel’s fault) is that many guests reserve beach beds with towels early in the morning and then don’t come back until much later, sometimes after lunch. That can be quite frustrating. During our first days, we were introduced to a company called MDS (I believe that was the name). They help with booking excursions, but please note that their prices are higher. You can find the same excursions cheaper elsewhere — we used getyourguide.com⁠�. As a “welcome gift,” they offered two free supermarket trips, but please note that these are not actually supermarkets. One is a souvenir shop and the other is a perfume shop. We believe they may be connected to friends or partners of the company, but we can’t say for sure. Overall, I truly recommend this hotel. It is budget-friendly, and you will definitely have a lovely holiday here. If you are booking this hotel, I wish you a wonderful stay — don’t forget to bring a smile and lots of sunscreen!

This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel!!!! It has the potential to be 4 star but as it is at the moment it's nothing like a 4 star hotel. When we arrived at the hotel it was gone 9 and we were ushered straight into the dining room - dinner finishes at 9 so we had to literally have whatever scraps were left - not much. We were then taken to our two connecting rooms - this was situated in the main building block which we now refer to as prison! We were the last two rooms at the end of a long corridor and that night we literally had no sleep - there was a deafening sound coming from the fans from the building next to our hotel - it did not stop and was going all night long! The next morning we opened our curtains to what could only be described as a building site - there were tractors, half demolished buildings and just rubbish dumped everywhere - it was an absolute eyesore! We immediately asked to be moved! Sadly they did not have any connecting rooms left and so for 2 days we were all squashed into one very small room until an apartment became available. The apartment was much better but we all still had to share 1 bathroom which was not ideal for 2 adults and a 16 and 17 year old. The rooms in the main building block (prison) are quite big rooms however they are very very tired even though this building is currently being renovated they still need to do a lot of work on the rooms to make this a 4 star hotel - the grout work in the shower is very poor, the doors are all old with peeling paintwork and don't get me started on the state of the fridge - it was so old and rusty inside - you would not want to put anything in there, it was disgusting - it didn't even close properly!! This was the same for both fridges in our adjoining room!!! The air conditioning units in this complex are all very old and sooo noisy however I did witness units being replaced while we were there. The complex is beautiful to walk around with little winding paths that lead to lovely little bungalows which is what the majority of people get to stay in - these bungalows are very small but much nicer to be in as the scenery is lovely and are only a minutes walk to the pool, beach and main building. So being an all inclusive holiday we were expecting non stop food and alcohol - this was definitely not the case - breakfast is from 7.30 - 9.30am there is then no food until lunchtime at 12.30 - 2.30, the next available time for food is at 4pm where there is a choice of cheese or ham cobs ( not nice cheese or ham ) or pancakes and if you go to the main bar you can ask for an ice lolly. The final meal is 7-9pm and that is it!!! No snack bars, no pizza, no burgers - nothing!!!!!! The write up for the hotel said 'pool snack bar' - there was no snack bar! We have actually felt hungry at this all inclusive resort!!! And regarding the food served we were more than disappointed - breakfast, this wasn't too bad - there was a lovely chef who would cook either fried eggs or omelettes which were good however there was no bacon or sausages, instead you could have baked beans, mashed potato, croissants, lots of different breads, salad, 3 different types of cereal and 3 types of fruit - melon, prunes or oranges - very poor!!! To drink you could have water, a very watered down squash, tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Lunch - freshly cooked pasta, chips, some sort of chicken and beef dishes, fish, soup, salad, vegetarian dish, breads, lots of desserts, 3 fruit and yoghurt. Only water available from a machine, or you had to grab a waiter or bring your own drink in from the bar. Dinner - pretty much the same as lunch except no chips - there would be a potato dish instead. My children have literally lived on chips for lunch every single day and pasta for dinner every single day - this hotel is not aimed at catering for young children or fussy eaters! My children cannot wait to get home for some decent food! The restaurant is a lovely building which looks over the beach but sadly the food is less than 3 Star! There is however another restaurant on the grounds which everyone is allowed to visit once per stay - this is an authentic Egyptian restaurant where you can sample some local cuisine - my husband particularly enjoyed the koftas and BBQ'd chicken breasts and there was a lovely Egyptian lady baking fresh bread to go with your meal - it was a lovely meal with lovely staff. Regarding the drinks this was another massive let down for us!!! There are 3 bars within the hotel - the lobby bar, the terrace bar and the pool bar. So you have to pay for all drinks in the lobby bar - cocktails are €4 each (but are nice) this is the only place you can get a cocktail! The terrace bar is the main bar where you can get fizzy drinks, local spirits, wine, beer, water and hot drinks - in the evening this is the only place to get a drink so it can take some time to get a drink as quite often there is only 1 bar man serving. We were very excited about the swim up pool bar until we found out that they only serve full fat fizzy drinks, water and beer - no alcohol - and for someone who only drinks diet drinks this was disappointing - Joseph the barman was very friendly though. The pool - As someone who loves to do lots of activities around the pool such as water aerobics and dancing there was nothing like that in the pool area - for the children, giant inflatables were put into the pool from 3-6pm everyday and these were great for the kids to use some energy up on. The entertainment staff would come and put up a huge speaker every afternoon for a few hours and literally blast out the same music playlist every single day - if I hear Michael Jacksons 'Jam' ever again I will scream!!!! They could at least have a different playlist for each day! The pool is a nice pool to look at but when you touch the sides it is all slimy with mould! It needs a real good scrub! There are only 50 sunbeds around the pool however most people at this hotel seem to go to the beach so you can turn up at 9am and there are still beds available - the beds are very comfy. All pool towels must be returned by 6pm otherwise there is a €15 euro charge which is a shame as you may want to stay out longer on the beach. The beach is lovely and there are soooo many beds available however these do get taken up quite quickly in the morning. I wish I'd taken my mask and snorkel with me as there is a family of turtles just a few meters from where the sea gets a little bit deeper - it was lovely to see when I borrowed a set. It's not the best beach but it is a nice private cove just for the hotel. However if you carry on walking left you will walk to the most beautiful beaches - much nicer than this one where the sand is beautiful and you can go out further into the sea ( for our hotel you can only go out to waist height and then it is sectioned off and you cannot go any further ). Regarding the entertainment it was quite poor - we only watched it a couple of evenings and that was 2 too many!! There was always a children's disco which they all seemed to enjoy. One thing you should know if you are going to Egypt is that everyone expects you to tip them - so make sure you are prepared with at least $100-150 in dollar bills for a fortnight Stay. If you decide to leave the hotel be prepared to be hassled non stop- there are a load of shops under the front of the hotel but you need to walk onto the main road to access them - we had random men just stopping in the street and jumping out of their cars asking us if we wanted a lift somewhere - it was awful and quite scary!! Every shop owner tried to drag us into their shop - it was not a nice experience. Lastly this hotel is mostly full of German and Arabic people - there were no more than 6 other English people staying at this hotel however most people spoke perfect English and we were able to make friends with some lovely families plus all the staff spoke English. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel however we made the best of it and were able to have a nice 2 weeks relaxing in the sun.

We booked a double room and when we didn't get one we asked the man at reception and were told there was no double beds at the hotel which I find hard to believe, so we just pushed them together. Rooms are very basic and there's only 1 English TV channel. Food was pretty much what you expect, fresh with a not bad choice, you'd have to be pretty picky to go hungry. But the main thing I was disappointed with at this hotel was the drinks as cocktails are not included with the all inclusive..you could get a cocktail for 4 euros and they were pretty good but it's the first time I've had to pay in an all inclusive hotel.also there's nothing around the hotel ie shops etc. Ps.. don't expect to hear many English guests

Firstly this was on the cheaper side so our expectations were not too high. The reception are is nice and always someone on duty. The room we had was cosy and had been refurbished. Very basic but in a great position just 2 mins walk from pool and beach. Overall it was a good budget holiday but I probably would not stay here again. The vast majority of staff are all incredibly friendly and although we did tip, it was not expected at the hotel. Other places tips were almost demanded! The entertainment team worked hard, but the quality was pretty awful and the Miss Paradise competition with the "sexy poses" felt like something out of the 70s! They seemed to have 1 or 2 playlists which pumped out very loud music at times and foam parties on the beach were cringe. The food was OK, lots of choice but as always with all inclusives it does get repetitive. The BBQ restaurant was great and we managed to go there a few times. The drinks were awful, the lager was drinkable but the wine and spirits so weak and the soft drinks were like liquid sugar. Lots of things not included so beware. There were very few English families here, vast majority German and Russian with some Egyptian families. The beach was nice with lots of sun beds but get there super early to grab one near the front. There were a few fishes you could see while snorkelling but the lifeguard whistles you back if you go too far out whuch is fair enough. The pool was lovely and mostly quiet while we were there. We went on a trip to the reef which was good, £30 booked at the aqua centre. Definitely come back to Egypt but probably earlier than July as very hot and worth paying more for a better hotel.
